Your latest purchases, cont.

Until you run out of space for more bookcases, begin making piles everywhere

Well, this new bookcase is on top of a shorter one...

Careful, a top heavy weight imbalance could cause a tipping with you under it. Can you switch them, put the taller one below as the base? Might still tip but the shorter one falling off may do less damage? Or add strapping, connect the case to the wall.

The local branch of a German big box store is going out of business and therefore has quite the discounts. Bought two pairs of shoes, blurays of Godzilla vs Kong, The Suicide Squad and WW84, DVDs of the two animated Adam West Batman sequels, Ghostbusters action figures of Ray and Egon, as well as a fitting Ecto-1, and I paid less than 80 Euros altogether.

You have to post pics and review of what the set is like, and if it's worth it

I've never quite figured out the posting photos option as I don't use any hosting sites for them and I can't figure out any way to just upload them straight from my device.

But in terms of a review - the set is fantastic.

10 bags of lego pieces, which as is standard this days make up complete segments of the set.

It's a fun build that's challenging enough to feel rewarding but simple enough to not be frustrating. By bag two you already have some of the transformation mechanism coming into play. (Because yes, the set transforms from robot to truck without needing to be rebuilt)

When complete it's solid and chunky and stands about 35cm tall. It has 19 points of articulation so pretty posable for a lego set and is h9nestly more detailed than many of the actual transformers toys.

As a fan of both transformers and lego, it's just wonderful.

You can only upload pictures right to the BBS if you have a premium membership.

There are free hosting sites out there, though, such as Imgur and PostImage. At least with PostImage, you don't even have to register if you don't want to (although there may be restrictions in that case as to size or how long the images are available).

Is that US? UK still has them. I was going to buy one but it is rather pricey

No the website goes to the local site here in Australia.
Optimus Prime the BTTF Delorean and the Horizon Tallneck have been 3 of the best sellers in the last month or so.

I've had the DeLorean sitting in my TV room for two months now and just haven't started it....

I’ve got the Tallneck one. There was a few at Smyths in my area. The Delorean one would be a fun one to buy

The tallneck is awesome. I did mine over 3 weekends a bit at a time. I was nervous because it's got stickers but I am so happy I didn't bail on the stickers. I posted pics in the model kit thread.
