I wanted to save my 2,000th post for something special, so here it is:
1) If Odo got cut in half in his liquid state, would there be 2 Odos, mini-Odos or no Odos?
2) Did Sisko tell Dax he made love to her MU counterpart? Was it in his mission report?
3) How far does a Jem’Hadar personal cloaking field extend to? And the classic Trek question: can they fire their weapons while cloaked? Or stab their foes while cloaked?
4) Does DS9 have a transporter room anywhere at all? Obviously a former mining station doesn’t necessarily need one if the cargo bays’ transporters and Ops transporter are adequate, but still… It would’ve been funny if they’d mentioned it in the last episode of the series or something, so the audience could be like, “Say what now?!”
5) With the Founders being geniuses in genetics, why couldn’t they find a cure to the Section 31 bio-weapon when it only took Sloan a matter of seconds to communicate it to Bashir?
6) Could the older Odo from “Children of Time” have combined permanently with Odo to make a Super-Odo?
7) When Worf became part of the house of Martok, how was it for Martok’s son, whom Worf had gone out of his way to dishonor? Were those family get-togethers awkward? (Worf probably saw Martok's son more than he saw his own.)
8) Since “Doctor Bashir, I Presume” immediately followed “By Inferno’s Light,” the Bashir changeling narrowly missed immortality in becoming Starfleet’s LMH. Wouldn’t it also have been wise of the Dominion to replace Zimmerman with a changeling so every EMH and LMH in Starfleet could potentially be programmed to become a Dominion agent?
9) Does the Dax symbiont have a personality of its own that can be talked to, apart from previous/current hosts? We know it has preferences and a personality in a general way, but is it able to communicate directly?
And with that, I seize the rank of Commodore! Wow, it's everything I'd hope for!
