I will spoil this part.... Sulu has no son in the finished film. That idea was toyed with in the 80s, but the film goes another way. No secret love child for SuluFascinating. Only read a few pages of this thread but that Starlog article mentions Sulu has a son and that's a neat idea!
Also I just watched Die Hard properly for the first time the other night and I really liked Mr. Takagi, so it'll be fun to see that dude again!
