From what I've heard and seen in this thread......the sound is the last piece of the puzzle. Between COVID and some personal family issues, it has been slow going. However, I look for something over the summer. A few comments up @Maurice said he had sent a huge catalog of sounds for them to use in the mix.
Yep. And @Captain Atkin showed me an edit a while back and some alternate closers. It's close.
We are a few months away from releasing Yorktown, after a few small setbacks. The film edit is done, and we are polishing up the music and sound design. Feels like a good time to post our new poster for the film by the talented Jeffrey Hayes

The final edit of Yorktown was finished last night. All VFX and colour correction are now complete. Running time is just over 23 minutes. Have sent the film over to my composer today to finish the score.
That's like 30 seconds for each year we've been waiting for it.
It will be nice for this to finally see the light of day. As others have mentioned, I too remember reading about this in Starlog magazine all those years ago.

The sound design is being completed over the next few weeks by Ralph Miller. All sound FX and ADR for the film has been completed.

The film took a little longer than expected to complete (over 36 years!!)... but I am very pleased to report that "Yorktown: A Time to Heal" is finally finished! We will be posting the movie online at YouTube and Vimeo on April 5, 2022 (First Contact Day!)

Wow, 2 long-delayed fan films finally seeing the light of day within weeks of each other. Maybe miracles do happen and Axanar will be the 3rd one....
