Long after TOS went off the air, the only new Trek we could get our hands on were the animated series, the (very) few movies that were out at the time, and of course, the novels from Bantam books, and later, Simon & Shuster/Pocket Books. The TOS novels under Pocket Books filled in the gaps between the shows and movies, exploring the depth and biographies of the Enterprise crew, with some of our beloved guest stars/aliens making their return.
With the new show on the horizon, as well as Kirk confirmed for season two, and to follow-up on another thread explored here, what classic novels would you like to see adapted into TV format, if any? For me, I think I would like to see Diane Carey's Final Frontier, which sees Commander George Samuel Kirk under the command of Captain Robert April in the Enterprise's first mission into Romulan space.
