PICTURE POST II!

Well, there were no universities in Ancient Rome. Most of the people building the roads (and aqueducts etc...) learn by doing - sort of like apprenticeships.

A lot of that infrastructure was actually built by the Roman Army - to keep them 'busy' during peacetime.
 
Oooohh, this chili is first rate, ma'am. Really excellent chili. Mrs. Columbo, she's a remarkable woman with many talents, unfortunately chili isn't one of them. Thank you very much ma'am, I'll just have this by the window.

While recently out and about I came across a rarely seen Quantum of DeLorean's, (I just made that up) gathered in a parking lot.

The Alpha Delorean graciously opened a gull-wing door, inviting me a quick view inside its revered interior before it had to leave.

Later I tried my first fried frog leg. The texture is like chicken, but they do not taste like chicken imo. More like a not so fishy shrimp flavor, very lite.
