Would like to see Enterprise come back…

Believe it or not, I’m following the canon. Since the bio on the USS Defiant for Archer used Federation Councilman. Not Councillor. And the Defiant was a mid-23rd century ship.

Yeah yeah yeah. Listen, Okudagrams are fun, but they really shouldn't be seen as binding. If they were, there would be a giant hamster on a wheel powering the Enterprise-D warp engines! ;)

Yes...we all know there's not...:shifty:

I mean… there’s not!

Close inspection of the Okudagram in question reveals said rodent had a tail. Therefore most likely a mouse or rat of some kind powers the Enterprise D engines.

Pft… Call yourself fans? You can’t even get your warp-rodents straight.

Not to mention that Okuda would be the first one to tell you not to take information in an Okudagram seriously, especially if it contradicts something on screen that's far more binding, like visuals or dialogue.

I did not know we saw the 22nd century Federation Council on screen before. Was always under the impression that no one is thinking about anything that could be ENT related.

Constant anime references on Okudagrams used to really, really annoy me (although I understood even then that it wasn't meant to be read by viewers). I love that modern Trek references it's own stuff all over the place instead.

Yes. For a limited series. The crew has to get back together for some urgent reason. Retcon Trip not killing himself.

I'd poop my pants if Bakula made a cameo.
Since the 2009 movie name dropped him as an Admiral at Starfleet Academy in 2258 (and SNW begins in 2259), I've thought about it and he could really show up in any Trek without explanation, so long as he has an unnamed aide played by Matt Winston. Everyone at Starfleet are just used to him cropping up in any era doing temporal cold war stuff.

Regarding the Phlox cameo, I'm curious if he was the first person they contacted or not... *hopes for T'Pol*

It'd have to be a good part to tempt Jolene out of retirement. It'd be great though.

Audition for a role.

So maybe not Phlox.

Ah well. Like I said, it's nice there's a will to have 'Archer Station' and so on. Enterprise does have some really good episodes.

The positive way to look at this is that it shows Strange New Worlds producers wanted a "passing of the torch" with Enterprise. Which slightly undercuts John's "Red-headed Stepchild" theory about how TPTB see the show. Asking a former cast member to audition is presumably some massive etiquette screw-up, that instantly rubbed straight-talking JB up the wrong way.

Perhaps more importantly, they wanted him to audition!

On one hand, if that’s what the ENT cast has to deal with behind the scenes almost two decades after the finale, no wonder no one wants to come back. Asking a member of the main cast to audition…oh please.

At the same time, the door is open for an animated series. Or audiobooks by Phlox.
