Aww, now I'm even more disappointed Zhaban doesn't seem to be in this season. Then they could make the three-person Romulan marriage thing from Chabon's season 1 notes canon.

That would actually be pretty cool, I think.

I think there's something absolutely beautiful about a picture, taken four decades ago in far more innocent times, making it's way into a full-blooded Star trek show in 2022.

To some it may seem like a small thing, but i bet you're over the moon. Who could have known back in 1980?

Indeed. It is surreal! "The Motion Picture" was my first fannish touchstone and developing a character in costume/makeup design, then fanfic, then fan art, all of which combined and evolved as convention cosplay, then in-character events as MC, live gameshows, TV advertisements and interviews, hosting makeup workshops, customised action figures, then fan films...

Absolute candor - With what is happening in my home country, the US, and what is happening overseas, I am hesitant about watching this season of Picard. I hope that they get through the totalitarian universe stuff quickly, so we can see Picard and team restore the prime universe. I need an escape.
