I remember Sky promoting SG1 and Atlantis as world premieres which I had to correct them as Canada got Atlantis months before anyone else

"What Lies Beneath" is accurate, FWIW. (Tulloch posted a picture of the script cover on her Twitter a while back.) Dunno whether "The Thing in the Mines" is for real, but if so, those two episode titles could certainly be tied together.

I thought the first season was a really nice balance between action and family drama. Good to see that Jonathan seems to have gotten past his break up woes.

It did but I would just like to see more Superman. I wonder if they will mention what happened to Supergirl here. Her “coming out” if you will must draw some questions.

So a fellow by the name of Alex Zalben (whom I researched briefly and who seems to be an actual pro, not just Random Internet Dude Making Shit Up) has posted a very brief but very encouraging review of the S&L season premiere. It's basically spoiler-free, but I'll tag it anyway just in case:

The [Superman & Lois] Season 2 premiere doesn't miss a beat from season one... It's as full of heart and action, with the promise of some new twists and surprises, and still looks like a million bucks. Stand-out of the episode if Bitsie Tulloch's Lois, whose arc will make you cry.
