News Coronavirus Pandemic Information and Support Group

From a Canadian peat bog that just happens to be located next to a landfill, and just happens to have alarmingly high level of both arsenic and lead.

I hadn't heard of that until you pointed it out! :wtf: I wouldn't be surprised if several years to decades later would lead to illnesses such as cancer. Gee, I wonder why!! And no doubt they'll lead to the medical system being overstressed, and ironically treated by doctors and nurses who've been vaccinated. Well, they've made their bed. They have no reason to blame but themselves.

On the "How crazy could they possibly get ?" front, apparently the newest Covid Craze for the anti-facts & science folks is eating dirt...

Dirt.

But not just any dirt ! Special dirt ! As in a hundred and ten dollars for five ounces of dirt.

People are feeding this to their children. Bathing them in it. Smearing it on their skin.

But hey, I'd be happy to sell them "special" Canadian dirt without arsenic and lead, for only half that price!

Or they could have some of that acid dirt that made our land barren due to mining practices. Our land was barren for a long time due to mining practices before reform in the 1970's.

In the latest Qrazy Q news, apparently the new Covid variant, Omicron, is just another hoax, because the letters, when rearranged, spell "Oncomir", which is a molecule associated with cancer cells, so something something conspiracy blah blah science, so the government is trying to cover up that they're actually giving you cancer !

Coincidentally, the letters also spell "Moronic".

You just can't make this shit up ! :wtf:

And arsenic and lead won't? :ack: And wait, how do they believe in cancer if they don't believe in science??

All this would be more amusing if not for the fact that they're actively harming their children and anyone who actually does these things, and their generation will feel the hurt.

Yep - these are the very same people who gobble Viagra, birth control pills, and prescribed pain medication like they're Skittles, and without ever questioning what Big Pharma is giving them to ingest, but won't allow their children to be vaccinated.

I honestly think the repercussions from this will resonate to the point that we see things like polio make a comeback.

Arsenic and lead from a sketchy Canadian peat bog ? :techman:

Time-tested vaccines that have prevented billions of people from becoming gravely ill or dying ?

Actually, they are just making this shit up!

so the government is trying to cover up that they're actually giving you cancer !

I know none of us here probably understand their mindset... but assuming this was even remotely possible, what do they think the government would gain from giving all its constituents cancer??

I hope not. My Dad had polio back in the day. It was much weaker by the time he had it and they had vaccines available, but he still feels the effects now and then, so thank goodness for vaccines!. He even spent time in an iron lung. I'd have to think that if these antivaxxers were to have to spend time in iron lungs, they'd scream bloody murder!

Oh, I hope not, too ! I'm so sorry about your dad, Owain - hugs to him !

But, yes - thank goodness for the vaccine ! Both of my parents were volunteer test subjects for the vaccine trials of Dr. Jonas Salk, and when it was finally approved people stood in line for hours and hours by the millions to get the shot. People have short memories, unfortunately, and the anti-vaxxers don't seem to believe that things like polio and smallpox were "all that bad... " :wtf:

That same room today - the Hogwarts of college buildings, and my alma mater...

Extra regulations in England from today.

Bad week for the government as rumours of rule breaking christmas parties from last year circulate, if they are true its not good but...

People saying well if they can break the rules so can we...one rule for one and all that.

While i sort of get it, i don't too, isn't doing the right thing something we should do regardless of the actions of others? So if politicians, celebrities etc break the rules, criticise them for it yes, but don't lower yourself to their standards. I think its more important to keep myself, my wife, my family, friends and loved ones safe rather than scoring cheap points against those that break the rules

No one will sit smugly saying 'they did it so i did' if their actions lead to the death of a loved one.

It does kind of looks like Hogwarts! :D I sense some pride in your words :)

Yes, very proud ! For my parents, who did a very brave thing, and for Dr. Salk, a hometown hero who refused to patent the vaccine so that it could be made and distributed by any medical/pharmaceutical company capable of doing so. Can you imagine that happening today ?

Oh, and proud of my Hogwarts, too, haha - such a beautiful building ! I loved to study there when I was an undergrad - always quiet as a church despite hundreds and hundreds of people coming and going, and so aptly named "The Cathedral" ;)

Yeah, I can see it. I read an interesting article about why there is so much hesitancy, and it's more or less a bucking of authority, their way of sticking it to the man, due to a sense of that the political figures in charge are not hearing them, that not getting the vaccine is their little way of feeling like they've got some control. It's something happening all over the world, and some developing countries have had to dump loads of vaccine because of there being so much hesitancy.

That will only occur to them after the fact. If at all.

There's not much of a thought process there...
