Things that frustrate us all

Hearing all this another moron did the same thing right after I started back up and had to brake again. The car behind me had to slam on their brakes to keep from hitting me.
I guess all that time playing Twisted Metal and Grand Theft Auto paid off.

Oh, man - I'm glad you're okay ! Too many assholes on the road are just... assholes.

Glad your GTA skills came in handy - makes me wonder if I could have put the money I paid for a defensive driving class to better use... :ack:

Yeah, my mom and I ran into that a Wal-Mart too. For some reason bosses seem to like to take a really simple, easy to use system, and make it 5x more complicated for no obvious reason whatsoever.

Wow, that's awful. Glad to hear you and your mom came through unscathed.
 
Scams on WhatsApp from unknown numbers that are registered as businesses, acting like they accidentally contacted the wrong person about a business deal or something. "Oh, isn't this Percy? I thought this was Percy's number. What's your name?" No malicious links or anything, so I'm not sure what they're trying to do; maybe phish for personal info? Anyway, I figured I would start giving them each others' numbers as leads for possible 'clients.' :rolleyes:

I have so many blocks and filters on my phone that it's a wonder I get any calls at all, but occasionally a phisherman, haha, will get through, and sometimes I like to have fun with them...

"So, wait... I'm to be arrested by the Department of Justice if I don't pay you now ? But I don't have the money ! Guess I'll have to get used to prison...

"Is there a dress code ? I look terrible in jumpsuits ! Can I sign up for a gang now, or will I be matched with one once I'm there ? Does the cafeteria do Kosher vegan ? How's the WiFi ?

"Wait, wait ! Don't hang up ! I have so many questions ! Can I bring my own popcorn maker or will one be provided... ?!?! "

I do not care if the extended warranty on my 12 year old car, that never had an extended warranty to begin with, will be expiring soon! Even when you tell me this is my last chance and if I do not respond I will never be able to take advantage of this fabulous deal ever again...you still call the next day (and the next, etc.)!

Leave me the frack alone generic recorded-voice lady!!! :mad:

How about the doctor that calls you on Christmas day with your test results- that were highly anticipated as being negative and which, in fact, was negative.

But then it was an urgent care type facility and he was probably stuck with a Christmas shift and had nothing else going on.

If a doctor did that for me I'd be sending them Christmas cards for the rest of my life !

I'm lucky in that my doctor always tells me how long a test actually takes - growing something in a lab for X number of days vs simply making a slide and looking at it - but they're not all like that, unfortunately.

I have doctor related frustrations today. A referral from my Dr. came in with instructions to call the specialist at this number to make an appt. Which I do...

What do they have to say? "Sorry, your doc hasn't sent us the info. Call them."

So I call my doc. They cannot figure out what went wrong and will figure it out and call me back in a few days. :crazy:
