Stephen Ross is an old man desperate to win, and Grier and Flores likely figure that trading for Watson will secure their positions for another year as no one will want the jobs with an unstable situation at QB and no 1st or 2nd round picks in ‘22 or ‘23.

Yet another fine example of how the NFL and its clubs not only turn a blind eye to alleged illegal activity, but actively enable it by rewarding their players in many ways. "Yeah, he's got a metric ass-ton of women accusing him of felonious sexual assault, but hey... he's got one hell of a throwing arm! And that's what counts, right?"

It means the Bears might not waste timeouts in the most ridiculous way. He supposedly gave up playcalling already, tho last week it seemed like he might've been calling defensive plays as bad as the D looked.
 
The full story was that the Dolphins and Texans had agreed to a trade PENDING any kind of assurances regarding Watson's legal status - which they're not going to get. If I've said it once, I've said it a hundred times; this trade is not happening.

Another tepid performance by the Miami offense today makes me unsure whether it happens or not. We’ll know on Tuesday.
 
Jets are big game hunters at home, having knocked off both the Titans and Bengals at the Meadowlands.
 
Mike White of the Jets, threw for 400+ yards and 3 TD’s vs. the Bengals, in his first NFL start.
