Mr. Markonian you listed Haddix as Wells class on Memory Beta, did you find a source for this? Or are we deleting that

i do have one major complaint though, how in the world was there not a scene showing Worf's reaction to Dax's death. He even pops up in his own scene pretty quickly right after talking about his second dream. What a absolutely huge miss that was.

Yep. Captain Ducane refers to all the vessels a sister ships. In my first reading, I presumed it applied to the Crichton and Mobius only, but it is used again later when those three have been destroyed, meaning they are all sister ships. Good follow through, thanks for checking. Would have been fun to imagine it as another type of timeship, though. The reason i asked is that I'm trying a new type of illustrated reference list on Memory Beta.
I realized i might have gotten overzealous in typifying the 2373 alternate universe Sao Paulo and da Vinci. My mind instantly thought of them as Defiant-class and Saber-class, respectively -- but then when i read it later i realized that could have been jumping to a conclusion. probably was the author intention though

The timeline is not changing, it is being erased.

The Novel-verse as it stands is over, it won't be saved.
I already predict it will be wrapped up with a nice tiday, "And they all lived happily in an alternate timeline, getting a glimpse of the new one."
As for the Novelverse, I'm pretty sure the same writers will be continuing to write Trekbooks and bringing what elements they can forward. This is hardly a new development.
That is highly unlikely. Given the existence of Picard and Lower Decks, plus any other later 24th Century series CBS develops, the Novel-verse as it stands is over and quiet final, what you suggest allows an opening in the future for those stories to be continued.
Of course it's not a new development, each of the Picard novels thus far have been written by authors who wrote stories in the old Novel-verse.
I would be very surprised if when the authors say they don’t want to repeat what happened with the Star Wars EU, they meant “Not explicitly destroying that world within the fiction means it might be revived at some time, and we need to overtly and explicitly obliterate the novel continuity so everyone knows it can never, ever come back.” It was already never coming back, there would be no reason to make it’s ending also be a termination.
I think it's pretty boring

I mean, they won't continue it the same way there's no THE FINAL REFLECTION books. Because there's no market compared to the TV canon compliant ones. Wiping it out is silly because that would make the whole story pointless. Why make a big effort to save everyone if they're all going to die?
We could be looking at, "they live as other [Picard Universe] versions of themselves" as our heroes best-case-scenario. I doubt it's gonna end with EVERYONE dying but... who knows.
