So it's come to this, we're getting spin-off shows about the Penguin before a darn Superman sequel?

We still don't know who the villain is in this movie or who was cast as the villain so i'm just throwing it out there.

Speaking of HBO Max shows spinning out of upcoming movies, they are apparently taking the opportunity of the Arrowverse Supergirl show ending to give Sasha Calle's Supergirl from the Flash movie her own show.
That seems to be the new strategy at WB/DC. So which Black Adam character will get a TV spin off? Or maybe a Shazam spin off?
I saw the original report of this on the “That Hashtag Show” site, but I was unsure how much credence to give it, since I’m not familiar with them. Will await confirmation from THR, Variety, Deadline, or the like.
I'd rather have a Batfleck show and a Brandon Routh Superman show.
They are very eager to give shows to characters who haven't even appeared on cinemas screens yet. As usual they are rushing to catch up to Disney and Marvel. They can't wait to just do something once before giving an entire series to some character we may love or hate. Penguin and Supergirl may be fantastic characters but can they not just wait for the audience reaction first?

I predict that The Batman will be widely loved and considered the second best or best Batman film for 3 to 5 months, then opinion will gradually shift to that in another year viewers are as overall ambivalent about it as they are about The Dark Knight Rises.

I think these events are fun, gives anyone who wants it that sense of collective reveal especially if they have some sort of live chat thing going on.
