I'm not sold on the "We didn't intervene with Thanos because we were instructed not to get involved except with Deviants" thing. I mean, it's half the life in the universe disappearing. That's important enough to make an exception for.

Maybe it's a matter of them being stuck in their ways for 7000 years?
"Half of all life is gone!!"
"Did a Deviant do it?"
"No"
"Not our job"

Perhaps the first half of the movie is about one of Eternals who has spend to last 1000 years or so trying to get the others to get involved in others things and always get brushed of. And now, finally, slowly, they're trying to see it his/her way. I don't know.

I do t know where I got this from but I read somewhere that the infinity stones were actually locks that were keeping something powerful out of our universe. Maybe this story is something similar. The Fallout of Thanos destroying the stones.

That looked so cool. It's great how Marvel aren't afraid to just go crazy anymore. A decade ago I never thought we'd be getting a movie about the Eternals.

I noticed there wasn't any hint toward Dane Whitman's status as the Black Knight, not even a brief shot of him in any sort of fancy costume or looking ominously at the Ebony Blade. I wonder if this is going to serve as an origin story for him, too, or if he's just Dane in this and becomes the Black Knight later.

Wait, what? I though the Ironheart series was going to be animation.

Nothing I can find about it suggests that it's animated. Even if it were, that wouldn't mean she couldn't appear in live-action in movies. Look at the Star Wars characters and ships that debuted in animation and then appeared in live action -- Saw Gerrera, Chopper and the Ghost, Ahsoka Tano, Bo-Katan Kryze (and Boba Fett if you count the Holiday Special).

As far as I'm aware, there isn't any specific animated series even confirmed for the MCU yet other than What If?. Every so far confirmed series is supposed to be live action, unless I've somehow forgotten something. They only just recently announced that they were intending to make more animated series down the line, but we have no idea yet what those series may be.

Ofcourse it's possible, I never said it wasn't. I just could have sworn I read that the Ironheart show was going to animated, so this took me by surprise.
It wonder if they'll only introduce Riri, or have Ironheart be part of it straight away. Depending on what is set when, it's no big issue for them to set the show a bit earlier than Wakanda Forever.

Huh. I like Duncanville fine and really liked The Carmichael Show, but it's interesting they seem to have gone with a comedy guy.

According to Collider, Kevin Feige says we shouldn't expect a fifth Avengers film anytime soon.

“I think we want there to be a reasonable amount of time from the Endgame to start a new saga, which is already underway and already started,” said Feige. “And then you need time, as you did in Phase 1, to build that saga before you start bringing everyone together.”
Honestly, I think that's a good thing. There are so many new characters arriving alongside all of the impending sequels for many of the other already existing characters. Plus, a fair number of them are showing up in other characters' shows and films that we don't have to wait for an Avengers film to see characters interact with each other, which was part of the appeal of the Avengers films. I'm sure eventually things will build up to a big bad, whether it's Kang or someone else yet introduced (Doctor Doom, Galactus, etc....), but we don't need another gigantic cosmic threat anytime soon (even though we kind of already do with Kang...).

On a different note, I noticed Collider made the bold claim that Tom Hiddleston will show up as Loki in The Multiverse of Madness but I haven't seen that news anywhere else, so I expect that's just them speculating (and doing so in the irresponsible way of suggesting it's confirmed).
