So, rumour peddlers are claiming a character formerly owned by Fox cameos in Multiverse of Madness.

I read that this morning too. In fact what I read was way beyond just a character cameo. If true this is a massive spoiler for what's to come.
The MCU, the Sony Spiderman Universe and the Fox X-Men Universe would all crossover in the movie. Wanda would also be the Villain.
Wow. I mean...wow... You want to top 'Spider-Man No Way Home' then you've pretty much blown that away.

All Hail the King is now streaming on Disney Plus.

Okay, so I finally saw it. Honestly, I don't feel I missed much. Although judging from the end credits, it looks like they actually got Mike Post to write the '80s TV theme song credited to Mike Post, so that's cool.

That '80s pilot Trevor starred in was weird. The premise seemed like it was meant to be a TV adaptation of the 1988 Schwarzenegger/Jim Belushi film Red Heat, but it was inexplicably called Caged Heat, which is the name of a 1974 Roger Corman women-in-prison exploitation film, and was apparently meant to be a 1985 production, according to the title of the theme song in the music credits. To further the confusion, there was a different film called Red Heat which came out in 1985 and was a women-in-prison exploitation film! I wonder if the short's makers got it mixed up with the '88 film of the same name.

There's a lot of Magnum PI in that pilot, from Mike Post to the Ferarri, to the fonts, the shot of the helicopter, CBS and so on. The title is kind of an odd one though, I would think Uncaged Heat would make more sense as a play on the title. Looking online it says Caged Heat was the code name of Iron Man 3 so maybe the connection is as simple as that.

Yeah, I saw that. But in-universe, that title makes no sense for that pilot. "Heat" works for a police-centric premise, as in Red Heat (the Schwarzenegger one), but where does the "Caged" part come in? It's a non sequitur, even aside from what a bad idea it is to give a commercial-TV cop show a name that would remind people of a lurid sexploitation film from a decade earlier.

I was just thinking "Caged Heat" kind of sounds like KGB so maybe that's his code name or something lol
Interestingly perhaps, I was having a similar thought, but I couldn't make it past the KG. The B was kinda a roadblock.

In any case, I can't help but suppose that the whole reason has already been identified (code name for IM3). Why can't something just be an Easter egg?

Also, if we're thinking along the lines of code names, a good code name doesn't have to make sense; it's in code. P.P.S., it's a rejected pilot, a lot was probably bad about it.

It appears Marvel is developing a Halloween special to debut on Disney+ next year:

For example, the Wrap reports Marvel is working on an untitled Halloween special that will film early next year. It’s looking for a Latino male in his 30s to star, and who might be cast as Werewolf by Night, a name from Marvel Comics that’s been used for multiple characters. Beyond that, nothing is known about the special and Marvel had not gotten back to io9 with comment or clarification as of publication.
I've never heard of the character but I do like the idea of Disney+ occasionally doing Halloween and Christmas specials.

If they were going to do Werewolf by Night, I'd kind of like to see the current (Native American) version of the character.

Actually, checking the internet quickly the Native American WbN is actually named Jake Gomez and he's apparently the only version of the character other than the original (who was of Russian descent). It never registered with me that his name was Gomez, just that he was Hopi.

I was just thinking recently the current story arc with this new, young werewolf being trained to control his abilities by Red Wolf would make a cool story on the screen. Maybe that's actually what they're going to do here.

@Kai "the spy" might have to help me with this one but I think a few weeks or months back Kevin Smith mentioned Werewolf by Night and that he was planning to use the character on the abandoned Howard the Duck Animated series before Marvel said "No, we have plans for that character". This would have been going a few years back already. I guess marvel is about 5 years or more ahead of us in the planning stages.

I didn't really know anything about Werewolf by Night before this conversation, but after reading up on him this sounds super interesting, particularly the Jake Gomez version. I love the Jimmy/Darcy idea but I won't get my hopes up for that happening.

Periodic holiday specials sound like a great way to expand the MCU without doing full-fledged films or TV shows.

An aside: I just happened to stumble on this video on YouTube. We didn't get that iconic moment with Nebula in Endgame, but at least Karen Gillan has her own Infinity Gauntlet:
