Xavier and Picard never met in that book.
Yes, just the holodeck recreation of Xavier.

No. We likely won't be running into an adult version of Omega anywhere until after The Bad Batch is done.I wonder if we'll run into a adult version of "Omega" from "The Bad Batch" in the next season of "The Mandalorian".
I tend to agree. It wouldn't make sense to show her decades later when we're barely getting to know how her story begins.
But *if* she did I'd say the more logical place for her would be 'The Book of Boba Fett' since it already has two people she has a direct connection with. Also, I'd cast Keisha Castle-Hughes. She's not a dead ringer for Morrison by any means, but also not entirely dissimilar either, she's about the right age, can pull off both funny and the whole warrior vibe, plus she's already a Star Wars alumni, so there's that.
Eh. It never stopped either the prequels or TCW from telling stories with characters who's fates we already knew. As a general rule, if the crux of the story hinges on whether or not a character will still be alive in 30 years, then it's probably a very shallow story and thus not worth worrying about.Plus, it just wouldn't do to show her alive if TBB plots hinge on whether or not she'll make it out of a tight spot!
There's a HUGE difference between some mutant Jango clones looking beefier or skinnier than the original template and an unaltered female clone somehow looking like she's from a distinctly different ethnic phenotype. Dying a Maori's hair blonde doesn't magically transform them into Gwendoline Christie. That's just dumb.We already see folks like Wrecker and Tech look pretty dissimilar to the supposed template in face and body both. Omega could grow up to be Phasma for all we care, with Christie performing. (No need to redo the hair, either.)
She's literally supposed to be a female clone of Temuera Morrison, who just happens to have blonde hair. There's no way you can swing that casting choice to a Caucasian woman without looking either 1) stupid, 2) racist or 3) both. How about we try *not* bending over backwards to try and argue in favour of whitewashing, 'kay?Dumb but a done deal; it's what we have on screen, regardless of how we feel about it. The only thing "maori" about Omega is the accent, on occasion. And those on all the clones come and go, making it possible for a single guy to be all of 'em in the first place.
A prequel being created about a character whose later (in-universe) survival is assured by his earlier (out-universe) appearances is one thing. A sequel being created about a character whose earlier (in-universe) adventures are still in progress is another. We have had the former. We haven't had the latter yet.

Uh, wut? They cast a New Zealander of Chinese descent to play Omega. Blonde hair doesn't make the character a "Californian surfer gal".It's pretty hilarious to watch you guys try and turn a blind eye at the fact that Disney already cast a blonde Californian surfer gal to play Omega.
