Thanks Henoch. it will be a week or so beofore I produce another Project video update. I don't know yet how to get to the bay in terms of the internal layout.. I will have to create a new deck to place it on and a narrow corridor leading to the bay. There cannot be much room between the hull and the bay so if anyone has any ideas?Super work. Can't wait to experience the walk-through of the Hangar Bay and Observation Deck.

The simplest solution is to place the entry point on that door between the 2 shuttle storage bays, so people enter the Flight Deck facing the aft of the ship

Take any inspiration for the unseen back wall from Star Trek V, the only time we see it? The rest of the bay on the Ent-A looks only minorly refit from the TOS era configuration
If we ignore the remastered episodes, we only see gray behind the shuttle, so I just pretend the focus of the camera has blurred away all the clamshell lines, but I don't know how much else you would see from that camera angle.
No reason to assume that - the openings on the sides of the Flight Deck do not line up with the turntable - you yourself had to place that shot at an angle. A door from the back would not have that issue.

Yes technically we should have seen the clamshell doors (if from an aft facing door) but then again technically we should have seen the observation gallery (if from a side facing door). Instead we see neither, just a blank wall behind the shuttle.
TOS-R tried to fix this by adding the observation deck above the shuttle (as if the doors were on the side) but they couldn't even get the height consistent in the 2 episodes it appeared in.

In the episode it's mostly a bare wall if viewed from that access point (as seen in Mytran's screencap.) One way to get it to work is to relocate or add another access on the deck below like what I ended up doing which would be the "Hanger/Hangar Deck". The deck that we see with the shuttle landing and taking off is actually called the "Flight Deck" in "The Galileo Seven" and "The Conscience of the King".
It seem to be difficult to reconsile what we saw in the show with the filming miniture. Here is a view from the door between the storage doors.No reason to assume that - the openings on the sides of the Flight Deck do not line up with the turntable - you yourself had to place that shot at an angle. However, you'd need to get closer to the door to match the screencaps on the show.
Also, is your shuttle the 22' or 30' version?
I'm not sure I was working off of the drawings found on cygnus-x1 and screen caps.

Something weird is going on with your Galileo model… it doesn’t appear to be throwing any shadow on the hangar deck. Love the back wall and observation areas.

I will post some interior shots of the control room which I have decided to place above on the back bulkhead, I have tried to go for a bridge-like control centre after looking at airport control tower interior pictures then imagining them in TOS.
Well I was sold on somehow getting a side entrance to the flight deck / shuttle bay, however with the comments and illistrations here I think I will go with the one on the back bulkhead. It will be much less of a headache. I think the layout is ambiguous because of the budget limitatioins for the show.
As for the shuttle shadow, I have noticed that doesn't look quite correct I will try to perhaps turn down the ambient light.

Hi guys here is some shots of the Flight Control. I tryed to make it bridge like so I added some bridge elements along with reworked engineering consoles. I'm not sure about the captian style chair. let me know your thoughts.
