Spoilers The Ships of Lower Decks

Not if you compare the nacelles and bridge module sizes to the Nebula and Challenger.

I compared the size of the nacelles with the nacelles of the Nebula and Challenger. They are slightly bigger than the other two ships. I believe they should be scaled the same. The size of the windows on the Niagara's secondary hull are also larger than the windows on the other two ships, implying that the overall ship is too big in comparison, despite the bridge module.

So side note, this isn't the first time Eaglemoss has had a Meter/Feet mix up. They originally listed the Vulcan ship from discovery at 142 'meters' when that was actually its length in feet.

Niagara scaling efforts suffer from the fact that all the side view reproductions are screwy one way or another. Generally, the saucer is smaller in comparison with the secondary hull than shown, say, and the pylons are all wrong. But yes, the secondary hull windows are pretty big and far apart, apparently because they are big in-universe...

...Or would be, were the ship ever seen. It isn't, not in "BoBW", instead being sorta-glimpsed. We might just as well decide that it is half the intended size, with New Orleans rather than Galaxy nacelles. Or that it does not exist, and what we saw was jut a mangled Galaxy or Challenger.

Yeah, the Princeton is indeed an oddball. The nacelles seem to come from the 6-foot Enterprise-D mold, the saucer from the 4-foot Ent-D mold, the secondary hull and the bridge module (turned 180 degrees) from the Enterprise-C/Zhukov mold, and the pylons seem custom built, although I’m still not entirely convinced that the lower pylon is a ‘fin’ like the upper two are, which is how the Fact Files and Eaglemoss interpreted it. And I also think its proportions are not entirely correct in official publications.

If we used the saucer to determine scale, then the ship would be huge, even larger than the Galaxy class, and even larger than the depiction in that Twitter link previously posted. But if we used the nacelles to determine scale, then the ship would be much smaller and more realistically proportioned.

However, its existence isn’t really in question. It’s no less valid a design than all the other kitbashed starships seen in BoBW, or even the Frankenstein fleet from DS9 for that matter (and those ships are ridiculously out of scale.)

Season 2 Spoilers

Couple andorian looking ships, a maquis fighter some Parliament classes, and the Starbase seems to be inspired by the Watchtower class.

There's a Daedalus (?) class? :wtf::wtf:
They could be civilian, military surplus
They could also be Olympic classes

Also I don't think those are parliament classes, not exactly.
the nacelles are different, the detailing between the impulse engines is different, more of a sovereign style thing.

It actually looks like there are TWO Daedalus' (Daedali?) docked on either side of the station. Much too small to be Olympics. I wonder if this is a partial starship museum, as there appears to be an NX-era Delta, Emette, OV-165 or possibly even the small vessel that inspired Archer's RC drone model between the two Parliaments (which are startlingly small compared to the California class docked on the left.)

Ship museum sounds like an interesting possibility. It is a rather odd assortment.

That's a Maquis raider/Federation courier ship.

And I don't think those are Pariliment classes, the nacelles are a different design, the saucer feels more sovereignly than galaxy. Also the size you mentioned

Yeah you’re right about the Marquis Raider. The image I got wasn’t high enough resolution and I thought the rear engines were more nozzle-like.

As for the two other pseudo-Parliaments, they are admittedly kind of off. They seem to have the same general body and pylon structure, but you’re right, the engines are different. Not exactly sure what to make of those, other than I’m pretty sure this is some kind of museum and that I’m super-stoked to see Season 2.
