Huh, if you look at the cut out of the saucer edge, that "middle" window deck is very Wee.. where the top and bottom one seems like a full deck.. he he..

The 3d model I made long ago based on Sean's design:

The biggest difference is that they forgot to draw in the ventral phaser strip in LDS...

(And the rim windows, but those might have been dark during the adventure.)

I just see the differences in Luna-class designs (original v. LD) as being the result of a refit or variation (Mark I v. Mark II, perhaps?).

Like the USS Osler (probably designed that way on purpose), and the designs for the California- and Parliament-class.

Though one of the art guys from Lower Decks says that length is news to him, so it might not be correct. it looks scaled to the other ships based on window size.

Also they accidentally converted the Prometheus Meter length to meters thinking it was feet. So it's super tiny.

The same size is also given on the book cover of their model.

The Cerritos is a design that's grown on me, though I still think the nacelle pylons are too far forward. She may not be the most stunning hero ship we've had but she's better than some and she definitely looks fit for purpose in a support role.

The Niagara is too big, and the aforementioned Prometheus is too small.
