You know You've Watched Too Much Star Trek When?

So was channel hopping this evening and caught a few snippets of some episodes and I could identify the episode from a minute or less of the pre-title teaser even though I haven't seen at least one of the episode in over a decade.

 

Or, if you’re of a TOS frame of mind, simply “Bridge!”

Whenever I walk through motorized sliding doors, I'm thinking "swoosh..."

 

Could be worse you could be saying transporter room.

Though does anyone know why a US show uses the word 'lift' which is more of a British word rather than turbo-elevator? I'm guessing because turbolift sounds better.

When you start making personal attacks against complete strangers on an internet bulletin board because they have the audacity to disagree with you about aspects of a fictional television show. That’s when you have to take a break, sit back, and really evaluate your life.

 

When you get nervous while walking towards motorized sliding doors because you are worried that the stage hands won't pull them open in time.
