I think I'd be disappointed to not see Zhaban as well as Laris. The byplay between them has been part of the fun.

I suspect the answer is it's close-but-not-quite. The black combat/cargo trousers with the side pockets and the black walking boots are decidedly non-FC. The overall vibe is there though, including the shade of grey they chose for his jacket!

Was that ever used in the TNG/DS9/VOY times? If not, they might not only go to the 21st century, but the 23rd or early 24th as well... perhaps this is on the Stargazer...?
The LCARS around it appear to be the ones from Season 1 based on the colour scheme. So I don't think so. It is also animated differently from how it appeared in the TOS movies and Discovery.
