Giant Freakin Robot has obtained exclusive information from one of our trustedand proven insider sources that the Star Trek franchise is looking to bring back a number of characters from Enterprise in new shows. We have already reported that the series is planning to bring back Scott Bakula as Captain Jonathan Archer and it looks like that is going to expand even further to other memorable cast members from Enterprise. Specifically, we hear that there is significant interest in bringing back characters like T’Pol, Dr. Phlox, and other members from the Enterprise part of the franchise. Discussions are currently happening at CBS/Paramount.

Well, I had lunch with John Billingsley on Friday.

He told me there's no way that's happening, although he'd be glad to play Phlox again.

I guess you never say never, but if there's interest in bringing him back, he is totally unaware of it.

Or maybe bring the characters back with different actors for some project?

Although Bakula is mentioned by name.

I'm pretty sure Blalock is out of the Hollywood scene.

Since there was no canon statement on Denobulan lifespan (at least that I can remember), it's possible Phlox could be around for SNW, I suppose.

Great, they can show Phlox in prison for genocide, then show Trip living as per the novels, canonizing the Section 31 cover up and surprising Riker.

Has Jolane Blalock even had an interview regarding Trek in the last 5 years? I doubt she would ever want to come back after how Enterprise ended and how angry she was about it.

Blalock's full-time job these days is running her and her husband's (CEO of Live Nation) charitable foundation. She hasn't appeared onscreen in the better part of a decade. I'm pretty sure she's not acting anymore and I doubt she'd be interested in coming back.

GFR? Dubious Sources..
Would like to see some cameo's maybe, but more want some type of continuation or follow up to to enterprise to show the Romulan war. I'll take Animation, that would probably be okay with Jolene because she can record her lines at home.

"Listen, we would really like you to play T'Pol again."
"Well, that's nice of you to ask, but I really have moved on and..."
"No catsuits."
"...I'm in."

I was really looking forward to T'Pol making a cameo appearance (Admiral of the Fleet?) in the pilot episode of DSC. It would have kept the pattern going of new Trek series' pilot episodes featuring a character from the previous series - i.e. McCoy in TNG, Picard on DS9, Quark on VOY, etc.

ENT didn't really have a character from VOY, but it did have Zefram Cochrane (from a previous film), so I guess that sorta counts.

She’s been very sporadic in her acting roles during the 2010s. Her last onscreen role, in either tv or movies, was in 2017. To my knowledge, she hasn’t been to a fan convention since 2005, although she did agree to return for the Blu-ray remaster of Enterprise in 2013.

Tbf to her, I don’t know how often the rest of the ENT cast appears at fan conventions either.

This is unmitigated bullshit.

Giant Freakin Robot is not a "dubious source." It is no source at all. They manufacture lies.
