I dreamed that I was driving to see some friends in another state, and then I briefly saw them, and then I was making some kind of filled dumpling or ravioli type things that were really small, and then I woke up.

Very strange dream last night. I dreamed I was on a basketball team, (I am 68 yrs old and 5 foot nothin'). The opposing team lined up by the goal, shoulder to shoulder, and gestured that they were letting me have a free run at the goal. By the way, Michael Jordan, Scotty Pippen, and some other greats were the ones doing this. I bounced the ball a couple of times, knowing that I had absolutely no chance to make the shot, when I noticed one of my teammates peeking around behind these b-ball giants, so I one-bounced the ball to him and he made the shot. Crazy, crazy dream.

Epic dream about two friends off to see former Soviet territories rescued from the German invasion in WW II. Here, the planet and countries...everything was larger. Huge skyscrapers had tiny houses and structures at the top. Elaborate detail. Underground structures of all kind. I seemed to exist only to document the pair...one was to marry when returning...the other to grad school. Bittersweet at the last. I have often had dreams where I seem to be little more than a camera. I like those...

I had one of my weird sci-fi inspired dreams last night.

I don’t remember all the details, but it’s a world where they have technology to bring people back to life but it’s illegal to bring you back in your own body as opposed to a newborn one that won’t remember anything. But bodies of exceptionally good or bad people are sort of encased and memorialized as statues.

This woman who was condemned to death managed to escape by reviving some bad guys who were memorialized and escaping in the chaos then it turned out her goal the whole time was to steal the revival device to bring back her memorialized boyfriend.

That would make a fantastic movie you should write down more and think about it, I'd watch the heck out of that story.

I had more clairaudience last night.........I heard the sound of a coffee percolator and could smell a woman's perfume and it was a nice smell. I had this one before so not sure why it repeated.

Some sort of thing where after her boyfriend dies everyone thinks it's driving her insane but she's really just trying to get sentenced to death to get access to the revival device. The main character being the detective chasing her and trying to make sense of her actions. Hmm...

I've forgotten most of my dreams from last night so I can't really explain them, but I do remember that I had a dream, I had another dream, then I had another dream which was a direct followup to the first dream.

I had my first dream of my husband last night. We were in his semi tractor trailer and he was meeting with a guy at his house to get our assignment. He got back in the cab and I asked him where we were going, but I forget what he said. Then he started talking about how we would trade off driving on this trip, and I told him that I wasn't going to drive this thing. He used to drive semis and always wanted me to ride along with him, but I have the feeling that this was about my journey without him now.

I had the oddest one last night.
There was this countdown and I was in the seat of a spacecraft and it was a test flight.... I remembered the countdown counting down the checklist and then launch which felt a bit rough. Then I remember this stuff and the words.

Me: Ground closing outer panels and preparing for transition and final boost
Outside panels were closing on the windows as a kind of shroud slid over the front of the ship and then
Ground: We see panels closed and preparing for suspension heart stop in five minutes

The rest I remembered the ship was on auto pilot for the outer edge of our solar system then it would loop back to Earth and I remember they had this preservation technique where they stop your heart and preserve your body in some kind of cold stasis as the journey would be a while..

Then the main engines kicked in and I remember that in the last few seconds after I lose consciousness and felt the ship boosting speed and that's about it.

Very interesting...and a little scary. Don't you love what our brains do to entertain us?

Oh for sure.... I think it was watching Stowaway the other night that might have helped create this one. Haha.

I had a weird dream - l wasn't in it, but I was watching like a TV show - about an Asian man who is in trouble with a gang, owes them money or something, so he hides in a school and somehow gets roped into being a soccer coach to a team of losers.

At first, he gives no fucks about the team or the kids but it turns out that he was once a very good player, and at one point he can't resist showing off, and the kids react so enthusiastically that he changes his mind and starts forging them into a real team, and it actually turns out that he's a really good coach.

Then a couple of gang toughs find him and are about to kick his ass when they are surrounded by dozens of shadowy figures armed with boards and pipes and some swords. A man steps forth from the shadows and says "this man is a teacher now, and WE will deal with him." And the man hits the "coach" with his sword, the coach falls down with a line of red across his chest. The man strikes him again, and the gang members run off, convinced that he's been killed.

Once they are gone, the man goes over to the "dead" coach and says "sorry... ketchup." Turns out that the sword was a clever prop made to dispense fake blood that looked like a slash wound.

I have zero idea as to why my brain generated this.

^ Sounds like the makings of some kind of sports biopic/crime thriller mashup.

I have this recurring dream scenario (though the details are always different) where I've gone back to college, but I find that it's the middle of the semester/quarter, and I've barely done any of the work, and I haven't made it to many class sessions. This happened in last night's dream. A friend of mine was dropping me off for an evening class, but he was lost in the wrong part of town. So by the time I got to class it was almost over.

The class was actually more of a lab session, with everyone working at their computers and the prof just sitting there in case anyone needed help or something. I look through my notes and there isn't much there, so I'm completely lost. I don't have many notes from the other two classes I'm enrolled in, either. So I ask the prof what we're working on, and he suggests that I read the textbook from the beginning. The next thing I know, I'm in a kitchen somewhere else chopping up vegetables. I'm struggling with a particularly tough tomato, and then I wake up.

Oh I had a fun one last night.
Went skydiving and the first couple of jumps was normal with a parachute but the third jump I was sitting in a comfy chair and the parachutes were on the comfy chair and was pushed out the back of the plane and landed on the ground in the comfy chair.

My dream last night felt like an episode of The Twilight Zone.

I woke up in the morning and saw my sister and my dad in the living room (both died of COVID back in February). They had come back to life! When I looked around, I saw my niece, but she was a teenager instead of her usual 26-year-old self.

I immediately thought something was wrong. Did I travel back in time? My dad and my sister looked the same as I remembered them.

I asked my brother what the date was, and it was in the present day. Then I asked almost in disbelief, "What year is this?"

I don't remember his response, but I was worried that the current timeline had been altered (by an unknown force or phenomenon), creating older and more contemporary versions of family members. Everything felt real as I had just woken up.

Edit: I felt like I had Guinan's insight from the TNG episode "Yesterday's Enterprise."

This isn't supposed to be happening.
