And the thread has returned to homeostasis on page 318 with the absense of real news to criticize. Welcome back, ya'll! Stale sushi humor incoming?

Yeah, the bottom line with this news is that reporting Alec is selling something that doesn't belong to him is like reporting that a dog is peeing on a hydrant. It's a dog. He's Alec.

My problem is how easy this steal is, mainly because whoever designed the SF insignia was obviously influenced by trek. It looks enough like a cochrane delta that all Alec had to do was appropriate it by itself so his uninformed sycophants can go "Wow! It's an edgy new trek symbol design!" This was like the SF ringing a dinner bell and yelling "Alec! Come and get it!" And he did.

The other way around actually: this logo is originally from 1961 and the star trek delta was likely inspired to it.
You're either trolling or hopelessly confused. For the sake of my blood pressure I'll assume it's the latter. Either way, I stand by my previous post.

Okay, this will be fun to watch.

Many years ago, my wife made two ceramic mugs, one for her and one for me, with medallions of the Navy and USAF crests embedded on the side. Someone saw them and asked where she got it. She told him that she made it and offered to make some at a reasonable cost. Another person overheard this and asked for her contact info, which she happily provided. The following week, she received a registered letter from the JAG office stating that she would need to apply for permission / a license before she would be allowed to sell any item with official military insignia on it.
I was just about the ask if a civilian with no relation to the government or military can sell stuff like this, and now you've answered my question for me.

To be fair, we were both still in uniform back then. And it was an Army JAG who sent us the letter. Yes, I was Air Force, but my unit was attached to the Army aviation brigade, so we lived on an Army post at the time.

I thought that with the latest wheel o' directors spin that they rejigged the schedule and the next shoot (or two?) was in California anyways. I could be wrong though.

Oh, how wonderful. I read that Hollywood is boycotting Georgia, so it looks like Alec Peter has yet another handy excuse as to why he can't film the blinking movie.
Hasn't Hollywood been boycotting Georgia for like years now? The anti-Georgia sentiment started when the state enacted its abortion policy.

Yes. It is immaterial as it applies to all things, including but not limited to Peters. Georgia, specifically Atlanta, has endured much worse in its history, like, y'know...being burned to the ground. It will survive.
