Well, some of us simply disagree. Having read Orci's comments when he used to post on trekmovie.com I definitely get the impression he thought it would be 'sooooo cool to have Spock scream Khan a la Kirk in TWOK', but for many it felt flat, or was almost embarrassing. Sort of like when someone has a joke they think is hilarious and then all you hear is crickets because you're the only one it turns out that thought it was funny.
While I wasn't a fan of having Khan in the movie, as I noted, I gave them points for at least telling a different Khan story. But then they almost ruin it by doing that I thought. The rest of that scene I thought was a bit too close to the ending of TWOK (I thought it would be more interesting to have Kirk did by some different method), but I could probably be fine with it for the most part if not for the 'Khan' scream. That colored my vision of the entire scene, in fact almost ruined it I would say.
But hey, I can appreciate someone who goes against the grain

. After all, as I always say, I'm one of a select few that liked Star Trek: Nemesis. Also, Star Trek: The Motion Picture (you're welcome Daystrom Dropout

) is my favorite Star Trek film. So I'm not afraid to take up a contrary opinion to the masses. While some of us may disagree with your take on the 'scream,' that doesn't mean you can't like it. I don't let the Nemesis hate get me down.
