I thought Gleep and Gloop from the Herculoids. Showing my age I guess. Is that a Brikar? Probably not.
Also looks like they will have their own Yaphit
Yep, with three fingers and a thumb on each hand, even.Rock guy is very Grimm.
Their uniforms are probably made out of little deltas. There's not a Starfleet arrowhead/delta in sight.

Which fits with the story that these are kids who “commandeered” a derelict ship. Possibly not even from Federation worlds. Expecting them to wear uniforms would be Maximum Silly. There's not a Starfleet arrowhead/delta in sight.
What’s with the avatar pic? I’ve seen a few variations of it here recently.Which fits with the story that these are kids who “commandeered” a derelict ship. Possibly not even from Federation worlds. Expecting them to wear uniforms would be Maximum Silly.

I'm sure he is a Tellarite. Would be cool if the rock guy is from Sha Ka Ree!Nice. I would've preferred more recognizable aliens, but eh, whatever. It's possible that the guy next to the robot is a heavily redesigned Tellarite.
More evidence for my belief that all the cast are aliens.
Expecting them to use communicators is not, though, is it, and nor would it be unreasonable for them to use any equipment that could be salvaged from the ship itself, or perhaps more to the point replicated by it once it has been restored to working order. (Is the derelict a former Starfleet vessel? I don't know, but nor is the answer to that relevant to the significance of the observation about arrowheads/deltas; see below.)Which fits with the story that these are kids who “commandeered” a derelict ship.
