Spoilers WandaVision discussion thread

If Vision was a Cylo...er...Synthezoid, recreated in the Hex and unable to survive outside it, and if the bed scene was symbolic of Wanda getting pregnant, would not the twins' existence, like Vision's, also be tied inexorably to the hex? I hope Wanda has a big UPS backup for that thing, especially now that she's expanded it. Pietro may also be a pure hex construct. A lot of people in her world have the great potential of dying on her (again) if someone pulls her plug.

And just how, exactly, does a mind-manifested mechanical AI get a "real life" biologic pregnant, anyway? Asking for a friend. :shifty:

Reality altering abilities/magic.
An in-Universe making off? That would be hilarious
No, it's actually the first episode of a new series that they're going doing for Disney+ called Assembled.
The announcement says they're also going to be doing episodes for The Falcon & The Winter Soldier, Loki, Black Widow and Hawkeye. So it sounds like these will be a regular thing after each new MCU production.
At this point, I'm pretty sure that the WandaVision Pietro is not the version from the X-Men movies, if that was the case, I think we would gotten more direct hints. I really think he's either Mephisto or the guy who Hayward sent into the Hex in the isolation suit.

As I suspected, the rumored "tenth episode" is actually a "making of" special.

^^^
It seems like it's going to be its own series - with an episode relating to a MCU Disney+ series that just completed its run; AND/OR a major MCU motion picture release, with a Disney+ MCU "Assembled" episode going behind the scenes of that film's production process.

ETA:
DOH! Ninja'd byJD

(That's what I get for replying before reading the remainder of the thread to this point) ;)

...and would've had to have had kids damn young...

I was thinking about this and 'Ant-Man' showed that Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne were working undercover for SHIELD in the seventies.
It's possible that there might have been other operatives behind the scenes as well - like Whizzer and Miss America.
Just bump their stories up from WW2 to the Cold War era.
Also, I've seen it mentioned on other websites that Monica Rambeau's contact might be Adam Brashear aka Blue Marvel, seeing as they have a history together in Marvel comics.

Except we've met The Whizzer in modern day.

Netflix Marvel is a disconnected pocket universe?

Marvel has a contractually stipulated cooling down period and then they are going to recast and start up Jessica Jones, Daredevil, Luke Cage and iron fist lickity split.

Did Hellcat show up in Helstrom?

In the comics, she's banging Stark.

Except we've met The Whizzer in modern day.

We've met a Whizzer in modern day.

There have been at least four different versions of the character using at least three different civilian identities over the years, I have no doubt that Marvel could and probably would recast Whizzer if they felt the need, particularly as the only version we've seen so far was a Netflix character, who are more "fair game" for such a treatment than others.

They're definitely giving off Modern Family vibes here.
I wonder where Vision is? Just at work, or has he still not come home after last week?

Brilliant clip. I'm hoping to hear the analog of the Modern Family theme music.

HEY - this really is a Modern Family situation!

Am I alone in thinking that Hayward is the one who was violating Vision's living will and not Wanda? I don't think Wanda stormed the SWORD facility out of grief, I think it was out of rage. She came back after 5 years only to discover that Vision's body was being used for nefarious purposes such as weapons development and that her only motivation was to retrieve the body. And then it was after that that whoever is behind the hex came into play.

Yeah, Heyward want's his "property" back to continue his experimentation. I saw a YouTube video detailing some details in the backgrounds of scenes and you can see them working on dead Ultrons in a few scenes.

That file Darcy found about Hayward being able to track Vision was called "Cataract".

Another word for Cataract is....Double Vision.

I think they were trying to duplicate him. An army of robots to protect what was left of Humanity from superpowered threats.

Vision may be the basis for the Sentinels in the MCU

Yup, I've definitely been thinking that ever since we saw the security footage of Wanda breaking in. It's clear SWORD was experimenting with his body and Wanda is rightfully pissed about that.

If you think about it from where Wanda was. Vision just died, snap happened (she dusted). She comes back about 5 years later with everyone returned and fights Thanos and then tracks down what happened to Vision.

So SWORD was experimenting on the remains of Vision in that lab for many years.
