I watched episodes 6 and 7 of Season 3 of The Expanse, and I'm kind of shocked that 6 wasn't the season finale. It tied up a lot of the arcs up to that point, and then we got the time jump and a bunch of new stories in 7.

This morning I decide to add one more show to the mix, and I started the French Netflix historical fantasy/alternate history series La Revolution. Two episodes in and I'm enjoying it so far.

Same here. Wasn’t very good. Didn’t even have the x men show up at the end

Given what I'd heard, I went in with relatively low expectations. I liked it more than I thought I would.

I watched Would I Lie to You tonight, will have MacGyver and Magnum PI waiting for me on the DVR in the morning (I don't like either nearly as much as the originals, but nostalgia wins out), and will hopefully finally get to the new Transformers episodes on Netflix this weekend.

He's got plenty of sci-fi cred: The Boys, Timeless, Extant...

Yep, seen him in a fair bit of stuff, but ER then Elektra were probably the first things.

I've not tried the new Macgyver, but Magnum is usually something to pass Sunday evening with.

Currently, I'm trying Bitten on Netflix.

Anybody here watch Prodigal Son? I always see the commercials for it and think I should be watching it. What I never realized until today is that's Michael Sheen as the serial killer father. That makes it a must see now, but wondered what others thought of the overall show.

@JD you mentioned this show in a Doctor Who thread, so I'd love to hear your take on it.

Channel surfing the other night and hit a show on Nickelodeon. Obviously, it was a kid's show, but it was entirely watchable and halfway decent sci-fi. I went onto On Demand and binge-watched the entire series thus far. Yeah, it's simple, and you have to suspend belief a fair amount, and it's filled with life-lessons, all because it is after all a kid's show. And yet, as I said, it was quite watchable. It's called The Astronauts. The premise is five tweens sneak onto a space ship a few days before the scheduled launch, and the AI computer decides to launch into space with them on-board (for reasons given in the third episode).

Funny, I just saw the post above mention The Martian. This kid's show has a lot of the "fix the problem" plot lines akin to a simplified version of that movie.

Just finished Raised by Wolves. I think I’ve got the gist of what is happening.

Binge-watched the third season of Cobra Kai over a couple of days -- I've loved that show since it debuted on YouTube Red, and it does not disappoint! Also watched Alex Trebek's final episode of Jeopardy! on Friday. Classy guy. He will be missed.

I like it a lot, Michael Sheen and The Walking Dead's Tom Payne, who plays his son, are the highlights. It deals a lot with Malcolm's (Payne's character) mental illness, and how what his father did to him, and in general has effected him.
The cases of week tend to be pretty interesting, and there is an bigger arc dealing with Malcolm and his father that I liked a lot too. If you like dark stuff, and don't mind a fair amount of violence and gore, I'd recommend.
Ugh, I don't think I'll ever be able to watch Hercules or Andromeda again after seeing some of what Kevin Sorbo was posting online Wednesday.
