Spoilers What’s in the nebula?

Why does everyone assume they are already done with the 1701-E and on to the 1701-F? I haven’t seen it said anywhere that it had been destroyed or decommissioned in Picard.

We have seen a 26th century version of the Enterprise-J fighting the sphere builders.
But, we don't know whether that timeline no longer existed when the Expanse arc was concluded or not. I doubt that Daniels would show Archer an alternate timeline as opposed to the 'prime' one... but even so, if events LEADING up to that century remained more or less the same, then its possible the Enteprise-E will probably be decommissioned at some point (though to be fair, the Soverign class ships were quite powerful in their time... it would be fascinating to see what it may look like in the 32nd century).

Alt Timeline Discovery from Calypso seems to be the obvious choice here.

I just hope its not Captain Kirk with a William Shatner cameo... ... ...

As an aside, I'm super happy they dispensed with the burnham mom thing early. The longer that lingered as an unknown, the more it would have been a drag on the stories.

Now I’m super intrigued about the idea of it being Lorca. Anyone have any intel about Isaacs being on set this season?

Now I’m thinking it’s him and the Buran or the Discovery from Calypso.

Just as long as it’s not Discovery from the season finale somehow.

It might be a test ship from the Vulcan experiment.
