So how's the tablet working out, Soran? I've been toying with the idea of getting a tablet for digital painting and some animation stuff, but have no idea what to look for. Years ago I had a small Wacom pad and pen that connected to my computer via USB cable, but it was too jarring trying to draw without looking at the "pencil". Some of the stuff tablets can do now is just amazing. Anyone got any recommendations?
I recommend Krita; it's open source and platform independent. It even supports animation.Still getting used to it, it's hard to find a free compatible program with all of the features I want, there are great free programs, but even GIMP is limited and Corel Draw is $500...
