I think I know what you're talking about. It's the rocky way that S1 and S2 were written that gave it that quality. Behind chaos, you get crazy inspiration and epiphanies. S3 is more structured on-screen and less chaotic behind-the-scenes. It shows in the writing.I'm gonna say it: There's a spark missing thus far from season 3 which 1 and 2 had.
I was thinking that, as well, in that DSC is having that same feel and flow that TNG had, in that by the third season came, there was this hitting of a stride that started the show moving more in a "cruise control" feel in some aspects.I think I know what you're talking about. DSC's development really is taking after TNG's.

I'm thinking the glasses wearing man (Kovich) debriefing Georgiou is Section 31. He might even be controlling Phillipa to make her an unwitting agent of his on Discovery.
So like, since we saw the Voyager-J in Die Trying, any chance we'll see a cameo by Robert Picardo as the EMH in a future episode? I would die if that happened.
*ECH
Perhaps he'll be in a large conference room with other Starfleet captains annoyed that the downtimers are undermining his 800-year Captaincy.
I wonder if the backup EMH ever made it to the Federation. So like, since we saw the Voyager-J in Die Trying, any chance we'll see a cameo by Robert Picardo as the EMH in a future episode? I would die if that happened.
He got held up in customsI wonder if the backup EMH ever made it to the Federation.
He was activated in 3074, which is 5 years after the Burn, but the episode doesn't indicate what year he left to find the Federation, only that it was some time after the events depicted in the holoprogram.

I don't know how much it's been mentioned in this thread, but does anyone else feel a little annoyed that Tilly hasn't seemed to really progress or mature much over the three seasons?
I mean, characters should have this progression over time, where there is a certain knowledge and maturity as experience with situations occurs.
I know she's been doing things like proposing the looking into dark matter as an alternative for the Spore Drive, but in her maturity level, I don't see much progression.
I think it's going to take Tilly quite some time to get over the fact that her mom is gone.Same. It was nice when she was bunking with Burnham, because we got to see more of her backstory. But since about mid-S2 her character has been generally frozen in place. I'm wondering how she'll cope in the future-now. It seems like she hasn't really started to process it. That might end up being a wild ride for her.

Their 'Love/Hate' relationship was a very big part of Tilly's life.
That's not going to be an easy thing for her to get past.
Hopefully it is explored more. Just that deep emotional struggle would be nice to see.I think it's going to take Tilly quite some time to get over the fact that her mom is gone.

Know what? That she'll jump 1000 years into the future and therefor everyone she knew has died?Didn't she know that back in season 2, already?
Clearly she should get over it.Know what? That she'll jump 1000 years into the future and therefor everyone she knew has died?
