What games are you playing currently?

It's been a few years, so my memory isn't real clear, but I think I do remember it being something to do with electricity.
I've thought about going back and giving it another try now that I've had a bigger HD TV for years.

Yeah, I probably wouldn't bother, honestly. It's not like you'd be missing something.

Oh man, in the Shenmue games, the standard response to things that are not part of the main narrative seems to be, "I don't have time for that. Maybe some other time." Almost sounds like it could have been a meme way back when. "Hey, you wanna play with me? | I don't have time for that, maybe some other time." Well, in the sequel, there's a main character named Joy who's been after you for pretty much the entire game. At one point, the game has you waiting until noon the following day and the game explicitly tells you that you have free time to do what you want until then, and throughout the game, it's fun to sometimes chat with the characters to see what they'll say. At this particular time, if you talk to her, she'll say, "Hey, I know of a good restauraunt. If you want, I could take you there and help you pass the time." Oh yeah, but what does our main character say? "I don't have time for that. Maybe some other time." Geez man, you're a 20 year old guy and a girl is throwing herself at you."You're hungry, aren't you? Follow me.| I don't have time for that"

If you query her again, she'll say, "Hey, I was only trying to be nice."

I I recently finished Yakuza dead Souls. It's an okay game, but I would only recommended to Yakuza fans, and even then only if you own a PS3 (meaning don't buy a ps3 for it, although I doubt anyone would). The gameplay, which is all third person gun play in this zombie spin-off, is tolerable but not great. Most of the fun comes from seeing characters that you like in this weird zombie situation, so if you're not attached to the characters I can't imagine it would be a particularly entertaining game. Still, I'm a fan of the series so for me it was worth playing.

With that done I've started on The Bureau: XCOM Declassified. it's a third person action shooter with some strategy elements that's a spin-off of the main series. It's announcement made so many people angry that I'm pretty sure that's why the last two traditional XCOM games were made. it's fun enough so far, although its companion AI needs more polishing since you can't have to babysit them in fights. But the style of fighting off an alien invasion is early 60s government people is pretty fun, and for the ten bucks I paid it was worth it, although people who bought it for full price at launch were probably feeling ripped off with how it's not quite as polished as it should be.

Playing Assassin's Creed Syndicate on PC and it's a buggy game.... I finished one mission but it's still showing up on the map as if I haven't done it. But wandering around London is fun and getting into fights with the Blighters (gang name) when they cross your path. Pretty big map for what it is.

Yeah, I played that one earlier this year, and it only convinced me not to play any Assassin's Creed games on the PC. For one thing, I had constant framerate issues when using the carriages. Managed to tweak it somewhat, but it was still a stuttering mess.

Speaking of London, here's a comparison video of Syndicate's London vs Legion's London:

Since you mentioned it Watch Dogs Legion, have decided to give that game a huge NOPE!!!

I loved the first game and was hoping the second one would continue the crusade and bring down Blume but they seemed to switch to a more zany concept somewhat, and the third game well they have in my opinion gone full tilt zany and I don't like it. I feel almost like some of the story content hit a bit too close to the real world truth about the surveillance state and then they just toned the whole story down...

That's just how I felt playing the 2nd game. Put me right off continuing the series..

I didn't realize so many people still played games on PC, I thought most people had switched over to consoles ages ago.
I finished up the first Assassin's Creed: Origin DLC, The Hidden Ones yesterday. I've still got some side quests I haven't done yet, so I'll probably work on those for a while before I start the second one, The Curse of the Pharaohs.

Middle Earth: Shadow of War is one of the playstation plus games this month, so starting that one.

I liked the Hidden Ones. I never got the Curse of the Pharaohs. Let me know if its good. I loved wandering around Egypt in Assassin's Creed. It's easily become my favorite open world.

Depends on the game for me. If it's an FPS, I'm more likely to play it with a mouse and keyboard, where it was born. But these days, my PC is not the greatest and tends to struggle, so I've been playing more and more on my PS4.

A couple of hours into Mass Effect Andromeda, and I am not really sold on the game yet. I am now on Eos and don't find that planet very interesting

I picked up the digital gold edition when it was on sale for $20 or $30 earlier this year, so I got all or at least most of all the DLC stuff with it.

Yeah about that game. It's divided followers of the Mass Effect series. It was OK but not great. Keep playing and let us know when you finish then share your thoughts. I was less then thrilled with the whole thing by the time I finished it.

depends on the game. if its a long strategy game like Civ, CK2, CK3, something like that, or an MMO, PC without a doubt. otherwise I like consoles

NFL Street 2 on the original Xbox. Lots of fun.

Pretty rough when compared to the rest of the Mass Effect series. I put twenty or so hours into it, but eventually got bored as planet and mission seemed so similar.

I couldn't find any more side mission in AC: Origins, so I started the second DLC story arc, The Curse of the Pharos.
I was looking at the map and I have a ton of questions marks still on it, I'm gonna check out some of them, but I'm not sure if I'll got all of them.
