Somehow, Admiral Senna Tal doesn't strike me as being in the same pottymouth league as Admiral Clancey. What a breath of fresh integrity!
She does. It's just someone else's and she ate it.In some scenes it is implied that she is the personified evil, in other scenes they want us to feel like she has a heart hidden deep down.
I've rated it 8/10
I've been trying to work my head around it too. Has to be something like this. I guess.I'm thinking Zora lied to Craft about being adrift for 1000 years in order to prevent others from knowing they time traveled.
Why not both? They still dont know in what direction they want to develop Georgiou. In some scenes it is implied that she is the personified evil, in other scenes they want us to feel like she has a heart hidden deep down.
I don't think the personified evil would have a good heart deep downWhy not both?

The whole idea of Star Trek is that humanity can become better. As Spock would say about Mirror humans "They are the very flower of humanity." Hopefully even those humans can become better.I don't think the personified evil would have a good heart deep down
overall a decent episode i really liked the character moments and the Adira/grey scenes were![]()
Because she is literally space HitlerWhy not both?
It's sort of a Grey area...By the way, having recently rewatched the fan series Hidden Frontier I couldn’t help but notice the parallel between the discussion about Grey being still Grey or not after the joining with Tal and the recurrent similar theme there in the last couple of seasons. I wonder...
Yeah, more like a stress filled Thanksgiving dinnerThe exact opposite XD
Adira only remembering senna does make sense if it was due to the symbiont asserting itself. Remember adira says she has been waiting for a federation ship to come along, but was that adira speaking or tal?Really loved it, second only to the opener this season, an 8 from me.
I really liked the design of Trill and both plots, I also found very good that the B-plot focused on the “minor” crewmen, I think we got more development of them here than in the whole of the previous two seasons.
That said, I don’t think the two plot lines worked exceptionally well together, however I understand that the b-plot wouldn’t have worked at all in the first three episodes and I guess it wouldn’t have in the following ones either.
Only real grievance: it’s extremely convenient that Adira doesn’t remember anything of her previous lives but somehow remembers Senna Tal.
And, especially, what the hell was she doing among the inspection party in the previous episode? The whole joining and somehow ending up there timeline seems extremely contrived.
By the way, I’m liking Adira a lot, both as a character and the actor. Can’t say the same about grey so far, mostly because I can’t make out most of what he says for some reason, always have to go back and turn subtitles on.
Nice touch about Michael having a responsibility hoarding problem.
Very nice to see the caves...I haven’t seen DS9 in ten years but they really looked familiar.
It's nice to know that evolving has its limits and humans are only capable of so much change.Because she is literally space Hitler
Good thing Michael wasn't there. If you mental map Detmer's life - just from what's been shown on-screen - it's pretty fucked up, if you think about it.
Yeah, more like a stress filled Thanksgiving dinner
I guess something else happened as a consequence of the burn. Now why on Earth would warp going inert almost destroy a planet with billions of people on it?
Agreed. It would probably work better, actually.I am warming to the Adira character, still don't see a reason why she had to be so young, the story would still work if she was in her 20's and not just out of school.
