Cruise ship...OF THE FUTURE!!!

Even if it's a replica, it's beyond cool to see the Golden Gate Bridge still decorating the landscape.

It would have been sublime to have seen humpback whales frolicking in the water as the camera panned back, the perfect symbol of Starfleet and the Federation's legacy.

Photo from San Francisco toward the same area of Marin County panned back from the Golden Gate Bridge in in the 21st century. That is one big cruise ship in the 32nd century.

I'm not sure I'd want to live in one of those floating buildings. But it would make moving easier.

If they run into Klingons they should have a scene like this:
TILLY: Those are Klingons?
BURNHAM: They don't talk about it with outsiders.

;)

In less than 48 hours, Star Trek will officially go back into production amidst the COVID-19 pandemic as the fourth season of Discovery will go before the cameras in Toronto.

Having Discovery on CBS was the right move. My father noticed that it's on there now. He said "They have Star Trek on tonight!" He thought it was a movie. I asked him, "Does it have Kirk or Picard in it?" He said no. So I said, "It isn't a movie, it's the first season of Star Trek: Discovery. It's the new show." Then we talked about it for a bit. I talked up the third season. I said, "The jump 1,000 years into the future." He seems interested.

EDIT: I stand corrected. It's Star Trek Beyond that's airing tonight. Ehhh. Well, at least I still talked up Discovery.

Yes, I know, I'm a Discovery Fan who isn't super into the Abrams Films. We exist. :p

Discovery officially hits the "exceptional" range, that only .2% of all shows reach.

I always take these Analytical sites with a pinch of salt, but it wouldn't surprise me if the YouTube grifters who exploit mentally ill young men say "the success is because of people hate watching it".

In episode 2 Rachael Ancheril (Nhan) was listed in the opening credits. So Nhan is now one of the regular characters, and she must have a better agent than Tig Notaro.
