The name and registry of those starships are seen in this open scene teaser. But, they are to small to make out. You need very large television or a software program that can enlarge them and bring them in focus.
Maybe CBS/Paramount will release the name, registry and class of those starships sometime in the future.

The distancing of those explosions is the exact same as on the holographic map that Sahil shows. So the ships are actually lightyears apart. It's simply not to scale, and is visually intended to make this clear to the audience, too.

It's just crazy that this event broke the Federation. That Earth, the people who founded the Federation, who brought peace to warring species (Specieses?), is no longer a member. and that they know have a Defense Force aka Military once again.

I wouldn't be surprised if MACO was restored since Star Trek Beyond mentioned that they were Disbanded following the formation of the Federation.
