Who actually said that they weren't?The bottom line is that Man of Steel, Dawn of Justice, Wonder Woman and Aquaman, are all connected--the same universe.

I had that as a kid. It might still be in a box at my parents' house (though it'll be quite some time before I can check with the COVID border restrictions at the moment).![]()
I haven't.
Nobody?Who actually said that they weren't?
Who actually said that they weren't?
It really isn't.
Even though changes were made to Justice League that took it away from Zack Snyder, Aquaman's script and story - which were developed based on what Snyder wanted to do with Justice League - were not similarly changed.

Perhaps I am mistaken, but I don't believe JD was arguing anything of the sort. He's just saying that the references in Aquaman could work equally well when watching the theatrical version of Justice League or (presumably) the Snyder version.Please. In this thread, and the review threads for Wonder Woman and Aquaman, various members burned pages claiming those films were separate from MoS/DoJ either because of story, general hatred of Snyder, and the erroneous argument that the plots were not linked, when they clearly are. Even in this thread the truth had to be explained as seen above because some are so Hell-bent on arguing a wholly fantasized separation of Aquaman (and Wonder Woman), when they are undeniably linked. JL is the odd film out because of idiotic, non-Snyder changes with hiring Whedon at the top of that list.
Exactly.Perhaps I am mistaken, but I don't believe JD was arguing anything of the sort. He's just saying that the references in Aquaman could work equally well when watching the theatrical version of Justice League or (presumably) the Snyder version.
I concede I may be blind, but I don't see him saying that MOS/BvS/WW/AQ are not connected nor in different universes from one another.
Do we actually care about the continuity implications of the Snyder Cut? Is that a thing people care about? .
I figure it's just 'cause it's something to talk about in absence of new news.Do we actually care about the continuity implications of the Snyder Cut? Is that a thing people care about?
All recent reports about the upcoming Flash movie suggests exactly that.they can just do a Flashpoint thing and make BOTH cuts canon.
Anything possible considering we are getting a Snyder cut now. They've started filming scenes that either they didn't get a chance to film originally or are entirely new and considering they gave him money to finish it and they have returning cast members it seems like they are making something of an investment here and want to see how it's received and the profit it will make.Do we actually care about the continuity implications of the Snyder Cut? Is that a thing people care about? I mean the odds of getting more movies in this "universe" with explicit links to any particular cut of JL is decidedly slim.
I've rested a lot of my hopes on the Flashpoint movie fixing a lot of things.Of they can just do a Flashpoint thing and make BOTH cuts canon.
The bottom line of this whole line of discussion is this: regardless of Zack Snyder's personal viewpoint, his version of JL is conceptually linked directly to the DCEU's core,.
Again though...who said it wasn't?
