As always, should you or any other authors be caught or killed, the Publisher will disavow any knowledge of your actions.

:beer:That would be great to have James Swallow having another Star trek Picard book coming out.

Well, looks like you don't have to be as secretive any more, James!

TDV = The Dark Veil, set at the time of the attack on Mars, focusing on Riker and Troi on the Titan.

(so, is this technically a Lower Decks crossover? ;))

I really like the cover art, too.

Very interesting! Will this use the Titan crew from the Lit-Verse?

I'd be surprised of James doesn't slip a few in, he has been writing that series for many years.

Oh perfect. I liked Jame’s Titan novels so this seems a great way to do a tie in with a new show. After all, the ship won’t fly itself and needs a crew...

8of5 tracked down the blurb faster than me :)

Also, there will be an audiobook, as is the norm these days. I'd dearly love for it to be Frakes (since he did a few back in the day; maybe he'd do his Picard impression again!), but suspect it will be Petkoff as the go-to narrator.

I think Petkoff is pretty great; no complaints there.

The space cat is out of the bag! I've blogged about the book a little here.

Not quite; it's set a year after the Mars attack and Picard's resignation, but it is indeed a Riker/Troi/Titan story.

It's great, isn't it? That's the work of Jim Salvati, and I'm really pleased with the era-accurate work on the uniforms.

You will see some familiar faces and some new ones...

Very cool cover, and it'll be interesting to see who from LitTrek shows up. Looking forward to it!

Cool cover :bolian: :luvlove: I'm so glad we're getting a new Picard novel with Will Riker and Deanna troi being on the Titan and dealing with the Romulans .I'm definitely excited about reading this book.

The only litverse character will be Keru.

He will still be moping over the death of Hawk.

Vale won't be there, since canonically the Titan's XO is a Saurian male.

Titan's XO at one point in late 2380 is Saurian. If the book is a year after the Mars attack, that makes it 2386. Lots of things can change in the interim.

Also, how do you know it's a male? Saurians are reptilian -- would their females have breasts?

I was just about to ask about the XO, it sounds like there's enough time for a change over to have happened.
How old are their kids at this point?

Thad would be five. Kestra might not be born yet, or if she is, she'd only be a newborn.
