Spoilers Supernatural Season 15--the final season

Dean looking at the sandwich, debating whether to kill Jack or not was hilarious. Can’t frankly I don’t what I would do. :)
As soon as they showed the monster radar I knew it was going to turn into a Ghostbusters homage. The music was a nice touch

That was a cute bit of fluff so I imagine we have a lot of doom and gloom ahead.

I wonder if Mrs. Butters will be back when she sees how much deforestation has occurred while she was away?

In other news, Jensen & his wife have a new production company and a deal with WB. Article Here.

I have missed these guys so much! This was a fun episode. The utter joy and glee Dean kept showing... how can anyone NOT love his character? (I could also be biased. Watching Dean is like watching myself in a LOT of ways.)

I really liked Mrs. Butters. I hope we see her again before the end.

It was nice to actually know WHAT that telescope is used for.

And 'Monster Radar'... THAT is so extremely useful. They could certainly have used it for more.

So many nice little nods. Not sure if anyone else caught this one... the file that Cuthbert mentioned, 5150. That is not only the first Van Halen album with Sammy Hagar as lead singer, but it's also the studio Eddie Van Halen had made. The band produced every album from 1984 onward there.

(Obviously, this episode was produced LONG before Eddie Van Halen passed away, which was only days ago. But it was nice to see the nod, even if it may not be intentional.)

Well, this was a nice fun episode for the boys to return with, even if Cass and Chuck did not appear. Although there was a bit of a grim moment at the start when they mentioned that they must also kill Amara-- I don't recall that being mentioned before. It's a pretty tall order for Jack to kill two gods.

But I'm always up for an episode that focuses on the Bunker and Men of Letters lore (although I wish that they weren't so corrupt-- I'd love to see a series or a novel or something that expands on their adventures). The concept of a magical Wood Nymph as their nanny is perfect and I'm glad that Mrs Butters was able to get over being evil. It's kind of a shame that she couldn't remain a part of the cast until the end-- I'd love to know more about what a fully powered Bunker can do. It's interesting that she knew immediately what Jack is-- I wonder how events would have unfolded if Castiel had been around. Come to think of it, it's odd that she never met him because this episode took place over a period of several months, if not a year. Which is kind of along break when you're planning to kill God.

But it was quite a fun romp in the classic Supernatural tradition-- I loved Dean's plan to get himself and Jack out of the locked room-- and it added a few interesting tidbits to the show's mythology. And then there was that one ominous moment that kind of slipped by when Mrs Butters seemed disturbed that Dean didn't see anything through the interdimensional telescope-- I guess Chuck has finished wiping out the Multiverse.

I enjoyed the episode, but Dean and Sam did a terrible job defending Jack's actions. Nobody felt the need to mention that Jack was without a soul when he accidentally killed Mary...? Or that Jack was without a soul because he burned up that soul in order to save Dean and Sam (along with the rest of the world) from a crazy arch angel?

It was said in Season 11 that if either of them were killed and the other was still alive, reality would be destroyed. So I guess if you kill both of them and there wouldn't be an imbalance.

Just speculation.

That was the implication, yes. They are literally yin and yang.

One thing I always wondered... while Chuck was dying in season 11, were the other universes affected in the same way we saw? Since they are all destroyed now, we'll never know. But it made me wonder.

Or if Jack is going to take Chuck's place then there may not be an imbalance-- or else they would need to also replace Amara with somebody-- like Mama Winchester, maybe.

They must have been, I suppose, since he created them all.

That's not speculation. That was the plot of season 11. The sun was dying out because God was dying, so Dean was infused with that spirit bomb to take out Amara because both of them being dead would prevent the death of the universe.

It's always the pretty ones. :)
What a messed up girl she was. She brutally murdered her best friend who she had feelings for because he was gay and she thought he was against God. If only she knew that Chuck couldn't care less what he sticks his thing into.
The stuff with Amara was interesting. I hope they don't kill her at the end.

That was SO horrible--seeing that woman suffer as her fingers got chopped off. Not just GROSS but really cruel. I'm glad she got healed at the end.

The bit with Amara--she seemed really calm and peaceful for a being devoted to darkness and nothingness. I'm beginning to think that the whole "reversal" with Chuck & Amara is real thing. I really liked that conversation with Dean & Amara--it was a pretty believable "heart to heart" for them.

A lot was going on here.

Dean lied right to Amara's face about how he'd never hurt her. It occurs to me... could she already be aware of the ability to kill Chuck, and knowing she would have to die at the same time to keep the balance is the real reason why she wasn't going to do it? But maybe she is tired of everything and is the real reason why she said she would think on it.

And her reasons for bringing Mary back... that was an intense conversation. Dean is a person who never can let go of his anger. It's understandable and relatable.

The Castiel and Jack story was interesting, and it illustrated just how dangerous religion can be. And just how monstrous humans can get. And the revelation at the end... it's the same plan Dean was going to do at the end of season 11 with Amara.

A solid episode, and it moved things along.

I wonder what that Demon’s plan is for that girl? She’s already damned.
Also, after all that Andromeda talk in the Discovery threads it was nice to see Steve Bacic in this. I’m pretty sure he’s been in the show before though.
