Season 3 Finally Lands October 15

Incidentally, I was watching Voyager's “Future's End” today, where the ship together with Captain Braxton's shuttle is being pulled into a spatial rift (or whatever) sending them both back in time. While Voyager arrives in 1996, Braxton actually arrived 30 years earlier. Maybe the situation in season three of Discovery will be similar and Burnham has to spend a couple of years alone?
Also used in the 2009 movie, "What was years for Nero, was only seconds for me."

yes, he did say that. It’s possible Burnham is the only character we see in the first 2 episodes. If so Burnham haters are not going to be happy, especially with her now being the hope of the Federation.

Joy.

They wouldn't be that tone deaf, they'll give us two different perspectives and alternate between them.

Fully expecting the collapse of the Federation to be due to Burnham though, somehow, which she'll then rectify herself, with barely any help from the crew.

This will teach them a lesson about what happens when we say "If you don't like it, stop watching," and they don't listen.

It would be the equivalent of me listening to a country singer voluntarily (I'd say "country singer I don't like" but that last part is redundant) and keeping tuned in even when they go full blast.

People keep watching no matter what. Kissing a lot of frogs apparently.

Based on the trailer, it’s enough time for her hair to grow a good bit. It would take at least a year for it to grow that long.

I think in one of the interviews with Alex Kurtzman regarding season 3, he confirms that Burnham has been waiting for Discovery for a year.

I thought it was fantastic they made Sulu gay in Beyond. If CBSTrek was in charge, they would have introduced 5 gay crew members, just to virtue signal about how woke they are, the sledgehammer approach.

Can't a sexy guy in uniform just be that without seeing it as a political statement?

I find two groups of people the ones that love the show and the others that say "but it's not Star Trek" and you more or less can't argue with them.

Should have sent Detmer in the red angel suit. That way we finally get a couple of episodes with the real star of the show
