Your latest purchases, cont.

It hasn't been purchased yet - so I may be premature on this - but we decided we are going to buy a car. Historically we haven't felt a need to own a vehicle since driving and parking in Manhattan is inconvenient and we walk or subway everywhere. But COVID has changed the rules. We're tired of being stuck in our 1-bedroom apartment all day. We're craving escapes from the city, fresh air, space. And they revised the alternate side street cleaning regulations so it's only once a week instead of twice, so that'll be a little less annoying than it used to be. The important thing is that it'll give us a new sense of freedom and flexibility that we believe will work wonders for our emotional and mental health.

Pop Funko Pajama Bob from Minions: Rise of Gru, and I got my wife a Baby Yoda from The Mandolorian.

Got some money ahead of my birthday, so made some gaming purchases:

PS3 Super Slim 250GB (with all cords, two controllers and 6 games [Final Fantasy XIII, FF XIII-2, FF XIII Lightning Returns, Kingdom Hearts 1.5 Collection, KH 2.5 Collection, Skyrim) - I miss having a PS3, so I got this off of ebay.

Infamous 2 (PS3)
Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Collection (PS3)
Yakuza Dead Souls (PS3)
Kamen Rider Battride war Genesis (PS3, Japanese import)

These, combined with about 20 PS3 games I still had packed up, along with digital PSN games I have that only work on PS3, means I'll have a pretty good selection of games for the console,

got myself a Raspberry Pi 4 for a ham radio project and ordered a circuit board and some other stuff for said project. Going to be fun :D

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Collection (PS3)
I love those two. I'm replaying those myself, off and on. This time I am trying to not forget it's the International version and Dark Aeons are in it which changes the later game play a bit, potentially

I got my very belated birthday present today- the 80s American Girl, Courtney. She is so awesome, and I just had to order some more of her clothes. I'll have half of her clothing collection in a month, LOL.

A portable cd player. My children do not understand.

A couple years ago, I was looking for a dedicated CD player to hook into my bookshelf system. Surprised that they were hard to find. Ended up taking the first Blu-ray player I had bought all those years ago and repurposed it solely for CD playback. Works like a dream.

Got some new shirts, one that has a white tiger on it and one that has some wolves on it, a small football to exercise with, a Madlibs book (Halloween edition), a Ripley's Believe it or Not book, some groceries.

Towards the end of September, I bought Super Mario 3d All Stars with the left over b day money I had. Given that the computer place isn't fully open for business and the game is a limited edition, I figured, what the heck. :p

Star Trek Adventures: Science Division for my birthday. Also picked up three games for the Nintendo Switch: Outrun, Duke Nukem 3D and Sonic Mania.

Not quite my latest purchase, but sorta. I preordered a DS9 jumpsuit from anovos way back on 3/2019. Months of no updates and I gave up hope. But today as I was looking through their Halloween sale low and behold, I found the jumpsuit listed as in stock!

Hoping that means it’s shipping soon (and that they didn’t forget about my order) and that I’ll have a Halloween costume just in time.

Since it's been so long maybe you should call their customer service to make sure.

A few groceries that I forgot on my previous grocery run. And I just realized I forgot something else. :brickwall:

Mail arrived. Even during COVID, life can still be beautiful. Bars, clubs and restaurants still closed so it will be used purely in vain.
