Um, actually it's because I haven't seen either show in a while and need to be reminded what happened in each, but way to turn something positive into something negative.
Also, I don't watch Wrestling much anymore, but I did like Sasha Banks. I hope she's good in the role. Gina Cerano definitely was.

Seriously though, I've already seen this very same misidentification all over youtube and social media. How? Why? I mean do people not even vaguely know what Ahsoka looks like, or do they just mindlessly parrot what everyone else is saying, hardly even bothering to use their own eyes and basic critical thinking?
Giving the kind of year we're having, probably more the latter...
I'm under the impression that Luke didn't even start the temple until Ben was in his early teens, which is at least half a decade out from when the show is set. At this point, I think Luke is still out travelling the galaxy, hunting down Jedi lore and being damn near impossible for anyone to reach. Ben would be like 4 years old at this point.
Besides, it's not like he'd advertise the fact that he has a collection of very vulnerable and potentially powerful children AND a collection of extremely rare artefacts, kyber crystals, and tomes ripe for the kidnapping and/or pilfering. May as well just invite Hondo over and get it over with...
It's also dubious as to just how well known Luke is in the wider galaxy, much less that he's actually a Jedi. I mean if every yahoo in the galaxy with an old laser sword and a bunch of ridiculous tall tales surrounding them really turned out to be a Jedi, then you'd hardly say the the order was ever really gone.

Looks like the budget is even higher! And it's still a western in space, but we are getting closer to the parts of the galaxy we're familiar with.
Which is exactly what the show SHOULDN'T be doing. (in fairness, the only thing familiar here is tatooine.)

First, it was an honest quick reaction. No, I did not look as closely as I should have. I looked at no further than this forum for reactions before I posted. Second, I also quickly retracted my statement after I realized I was mistaken.

I mean if it's a quick reaction as you say then the very non-togruta looking silhouette should have been the ONLY salient observation.
Even though it's also wrong, if people were instead saying "Barris!" I'd at least understand since at least she has a human shaped head and is known for going about in dark hooded cloaks.

Pardon me for not remembering exactly what Ahsoka looked like. I figured the tendrils were hidden and forgot about the markings. So please forgive my very human memory and honest hope that there might be some sort of an appearance by this character in the trailer.
But it shouldn't be. But, back to the familiar.
