I feel like we have gone done that particular road enough for now, okay? @Everyone, let's go a couple of pages without mentioning The Orville. And I mean it.
It kills me that this gif isn't looped better.

Mariner's fucking awesome. I've seen three episodes so far and she's become one of my favorite Trek characters, period. She has a very Terminal Lance thing going on that I dig.I started scrolling at "Mariner's a Mary Sue." Sigh. Here we go again.
Did nobody see the TOS Klingon disruptors being sold by the street vendor in "Envoys"?
then Lower Decks and Discovery don't count. they are largely an afront to what Trek is about regardless of the fact that the people that made then can slap the logo on them. (Only my opinion)Hey, here's a thought. Let's talk about Star Trek.
This keeps getting stated without any evidence. Is this like the obscenity rule where it can't be defined but the judge knows it when he sees it?then Lower Decks and Discovery don't count. they are largely an afront to what Trek is about regardless of the fact that the people that made then can slap the logo on them.

I'm not disputing what is canon. I mean that's the whole point of slapping the logo on it. TLJ might be canon in SW, but that is an affront to SW. I'm not denying what the lawyers might say is part of property and what isn'tI don't like a lot of things about DSC but it is Star Trek and it is canon. What we decide is an "affront" to canon or continuity is irrelevant to a series' official status within the franchise.
