Okay so I watched it last night for free and I hated it so much I wish I could have voted zero. Then I went through all 50 pages of this thread liking every post that had something bad to say about the show because I want my side to win the argument. That's a normal thing to do right? Because I see I'm not alone.

I honestly have so many questions about your post but the one thatt came out of left field was whether or not I was going to watch rest of the episodes. Not sure if I touched on that particular aspect in my post

Probably get more engaging responses if you went over what didn’t work for you.

Not sure why there needs to be winners and losers...

- If the Top left is Archer - nope - missed the mark. looks more like Mr. Rogers.

- Burnham is okay

- Janeway looks evilly psychotic so spot on there.

- But tell me when did Sisko EVER smile like that.

It's a fair approximation of Archer given the animation style. Besides, Scott Bakula's hair changed over the run of ENT.

What exactly does "winning" mean? That the regulars of the forum say "You were right and we were wrong"? Does "winning" mean that the other side either sees the light, automatically yields to your point of view, or just goes totally silent? If that's the case, then I'm sorry to say that none of these things are going to happen. It never happens.

Change your goal to something more realistic: We hash it out, we realize that we're dealing with one opinion versus another, that no one is going the change each others' minds, and that a forum is going to be populated by more people who like a series than don't. If you don't like X show and you're posting in X forum, you have the minority opinion. It's not going to become a majority opinion, at least not in here. So make your argument as best as you can, expect it's going to be rebutted in some manner, and accept that comes with the territory.

EDIT: I messed that one up! No more posting late at night when I'm super-tired and haven't really read anything. :p

But I'll recycle this post somewhere else, when I get the right opening. It's gonna come up sooner or later.

^I wouldn't take what he says too seriously. I had assumed @Grant was having some fun in his initial post in this thread (at the expense of the haters), and subsequent posts seem to confirm that. If so, good job
