The first of a long running idea I've been working on. Going to be posting a few pages in this format (there are two in this little scene for example) every Wednesday and when a story arc is completed I'll put it all in a PDF. This goes back all the way from when I first started building Trek sets a few years back and this was always the end goal, telling stories with said sets. Granted I didn't anticipate starting with TOS and going forward as I'd started building TNG and TMP era sets, but those are still in progress. I did decide to put this in it's own thread as this isn't me building sets or ships. I'll be posting full credits for everything in the collected PDF but also will be trying to keep up as I post pages. This is great! What a wonderful way to use your sets. I really like the little details or expressions that you've included: the "tuning your flabjellah" in the first strip; the science guy holding his head in his hands in the second; the exchanged flirtatious glance in the fourth - Brilliant!
Thank you! I do tend to have a weird sense of humor and it's not always going to be quite so light-hearted, but I am definitely having fun with my toys.
Great work. Temba, his arms wide. Give us more. But nothing "tiny" I can see Those are some ample nacelles if I've ever seen them.
Does have a cartoon-ish feel to it but quite nice in any case and good work on all the ships and interiors.

Gal is the tallest crew member on the ship. I went with the memory beta info for the Tellarites so that put the female average height at 2.2m (7.2 ft). I think she's 7ft. 5 in. if I remember right (yes she has to duck her head going into almost every room on the ship). Galvin is on the tall side for a human as well at 6 ft. even.
That's the first time I've ever heard that. Indeed, a lot of fan-fic data put Tellarites as being on average shorter than humans, like between 4-foot-8 and 5-foot-4. This is based on Ambassador Gav being obviously shorter than Kirk, but do note that Gav's assistant is at least Kirk's height. I've never seen anything in published Trek sources to suggest Tellarite females are taller / larger than the males. That said, it's your world view, so if you want their females to be tall, so be it. And nothing says she has to be average ... maybe she just IS tall even for her kind. And with that --- we're waiting to read / see more of your story!!

Ah, the lovely crew lounge with its real/physical books and a coffee machine! Now, was the coffee break part of the abandoned tour, or part of trying to get un-lost?
what a fun idea! Have you considered rendering this with a toon shader? Looking forward to a full episode / comic book!
As if any self-respecting caffeine craving Captain wouldn't know EXACTLY where to find the coffee on board her ship I had, but the toon shader results never worked for me. I like the kind of chibi/doll aesthetic here so it works for me. I'll be putting them into a PDF for each arc. There's still a good chunk to go on this story-wise, but the first arc is definitely more character focused to get to know that crew and who I want to follow around more.
