I'd like to see a venn diagram between people who believe YouTube incel types like Doomcock, MidnightsEdge and Nerdrotic, 5G conspiracies and thinking corona virus is fake.

Just look at his channel, it is entirely click bait, hate filled videos designed to tell a certain group (males in their 20s and 30s) what they want to hear.
Jesus Christ. Nerdrotic and its fans must have a deeply unhealthy relationship with the media they consume.
I've noticed that logic is not the strong point of these phantom menace related sites... and apparently, the people who eagerly consume and spread this stuff. (Not necessarily the poster who brought this here.)
I'm a bit sad to see this merged with the YT thread, though. I mean, there is *some* thoughtful content on YT, and I hate to see those thrown in with those clickbait rumormonger sites... oh well.
Yeah, it's frustrating when thoughtful, intelligent, and, well,
sane YouTube commentators get lumped in with toxic assholes.
Right off the bat, YouTube media commentators I respect include
Bob Chipman (aka MovieBob)*,
Trekspertise,
Mikey Neuman (aka FilmJoy, aka Movies with Mikey),
Jonathan McIntosh (aka Pop Culture Detective),
Evan Paschak (aka the Nerdwriter),
Kyle Kallgren (aka Brows Held High),
Lessons From the Screenplay,
NerdSync,
CGP Grey,
Kristian T. Williams (aka kaptainkristian),
John and Hank Green (aka the Vlogbrothers),
Leon Thomas (aka Renegade Cut),
Maggie Mae Fish,
Dan Olson (aka Folding Ideas),
Patrick H. Willems,
Steve Shives,
Jessie Gender, and, of course, the greatest of them all,
Lindsay Ellis.**
* Some of Chipman's off-the-cuff remarks on Twitter are occasionally classist. I think this reflects some internalized classism over abuse he received as a working-class kid from other working-class kids; he keeps his more toxic impulses out of his fully fleshed-out YouTube videos, where he can be incredibly insightful.
** After listing out my favorite YouTube commentators, I realize that my list is
incredibly white and I need to continue to expand it to hear more non-white voices, too. But nonetheless, all of these voices are fun, thoughtful, and worth listening to. None of the toxicity of something like Nerdrotic.
