Again what would be the point of such a theory or thought experiment.
It's certainly not new or creative, since that's a type of fan idea that gets tossed around in nearly every fandom.

@Jayson1, you changed your name and started posting in TNG?

And answers that explain everything explain nothing. If you why it rains, the answer "God's will," even if true, doesn't explain about evaporation, condensation, temperature, pressure, etc. And you could also apply "God's will," if true, to any other questions, nearly all of which would have nothing to do with evaporation, condensation, temperature, pressure, etc.

It is an interesting thought if Q was actually some guy named John Quincy who likes to pretend he's a god in some virtual world he created. Maybe he's observing all these fun stories created by the AI he controls, and he occasionally jumps into the action when especially bored, creating this whole fake backstory for himself and "his people".

It's just the standard "what if it's all in X character's head" idea yet again.

There is no indication or hint towards it in any of the shows, it offers literally nothing and brings nothing new to the table.

Agreed. Could it all be illusions? Yes. Maybe all of TNG, DS9 & VOY are happening in a few instants during the Farpoint trial. All illusory.
It can't be disproven, but it's a non-starter as far as ideas go. The fiction equivalent of solipsism.

“Deathwish” and most of the Q arc on VOY makes no sense if they’re not near omnipotent.

Plus, it’s all of a sudden boring if he’s not. What makes him interesting for me is attempting to grasp what might possibly be gleaned from his absurd behavior.
