Uniforms in the new series

Enlisted crewmen! We have our new uniforms!

(I wonder how the Klingons will look dressed as wizards...?)

John's the leader so he's command. Paul is savvy so he's Science. George was almost an electrician, so he's Operations. And Ringo is.....?

Ringo's dead, man. Ringo's dead. I guess that makes him Ensign Redshirt.

Every heard that 80's beatnik poem when more of them were still alive? "George, Paul, and Ringo got together for some bingo. But John didn't join them. Because he's dead."

That's an odd statement...of the two survivors, Ringo's the one who didn't even have a popular death hoax to his name.

It probably won't be for another while until we get to see the production design for the new Star Trek series, but how do you guys want the new uniforms to look? Casual and comfortable like the Enterprise uniforms, bright and colourful like the The Original Series and The Next Generation uniforms, or formal and classy like the original film uniforms?

I saw these posted on Reddit earlier today, and apparently, they were designed by @Longinus, a fellow BBS'er. Absolutely love the look of them, and if this show really is set between Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country and The Next Generation as has been speculated and possibly hinted by Nicholas Meyer, these would be perfect.

A few changes here and there, with the pants leg opening for example, and I would pick these.

I know I'm late to the party, but I adore these.

Sorry, but who actually has a body like that? How about those uniforms on realistic adult people?

Well Patrick stewart was pretty fit and had good posture back in the day. However the question is, will there enough give in the crotch to be able to sit on a chair like Riker or to hitch ones leg up on the operations console.

My understanding is that the costume caused Stewart considerable back problems, there was no give to it. And after the second season wasn't Stewart's (and others) costume slightly padded in the shoulders and chest to give the false impression of muscle?
