Dax - DS9 season one, episode 8
Interesting how that episode has two actors that also appeared in episodes of TNG

I'm going through all of DS9 on Netflix. Enjoying the hell out of it so far.

TNG “Chain of Command Part 1”. H’oh boy, this could have been renamed “Trump Takes Over the Enterprise”.

TOS: "The Man Trap" I forgot how much I like this one. It really does work well as a premiere. There's great intro bits for Uhura, Spock, Sulu, poor Rand is getting leered at and mistreated from jump -- fitting, if depressing. You can really appreciate the planet's fabulous 60's-ness in the remaster.

TAS: "The Infinite Vulcan"
Wow, the plan in this one makes no sense whatsoever! My society is threatened with imminent extinction, so I need to launch a plan to have an army of cloned giants ready in 200+ years? Though always fun to have another Eugenics Wars reference.

TAS: "The Magicks Of Megas-Tu"
Trippy!

DS9: "Honor Among Thieves"
Never realized how sexual that Bilby/O'Brien relationship is before!

"Past Prologue" (DS9)

That was better than I thought it would be. Through Sisko, you get to see how the Federation handles criminals, renegades, and terrorists outside of their jurisdiction.

... and this is NOT the fault of "Past Prologue", but they really dropped the ball with Garak. They should've made him openly gay! That was the single biggest Missed Opportunity on DS9 ever.

VOY: "The Haunting Of Deck Twelve"
Geez, not much too this one, is there? It felt like it was 85% technobabble and 15% children.

TOS: "Balance Of Terror"
Wow, I cannot believe how perfectly 60's Hot the kid playing doomed groom Tomlinson is -- so fresh-faced and youthful and square-jawed, and those intense bright blue eyes. He is PERFECT for a tragic-early-death role. My compliments to the casting people!

Nah Jellico knew what he was doing.
Ha, I was gonna say that but didn’t want to open that can of worms, but yeah— Jellico was actually a competent captain and I actually rather liked him by the end. In fact, it was Riker that came off badly in that episode, he’s really quite a pouty prima donna at times.

Last episode watched - TNG “Ship in a Bottle”. Season six started so poorly I almost quit my rewatch, but it’s got so much better by the midway point. This is one of the cleverer and more innovative holodeck episodes by far.
