Work will obviously have been done before they were announced, but pre-production was not completed before they were announced, and they definitely didn't film them completely before announcing it.

I never said anything about pre-production.

Development is completed. We only know about this, Section 31 and Starfleet Academy because they're using Canadians, and crew member's work is logged on a public register.

Yeah. The Directors' Guild of Canada is not completely secretive, apparently. I expect there are legal requirements for this much to be made public somewhere in either federal or provincial statute.

1982 Access to Information Act. You can get for the entire expenses log for Discovery in Canada from the film board. (The books for Season 3 aren't closed yet.)

Oh, that's right. Because federal and provincial tax credits in play!

CBS All Access upfronts. It’s also the day before the marketplace for 2021 Star Trek licenses opens.

Yes, in the same way Section 31 is Wind Cleaver and Discovery is still Green Harvest on various people’s profiles. Picard is Crosby Street or something like that.

I don't think Serveaux was asking a question.

Strange New Worlds is going to be the title.

Give or take an "s" at the end. If you click on the link in the OP, it now says "Strange New World".

Hopefully they keep the "s" at the end. I think it sounds better.

    Your opinion, not fact.

My own opinion is that Picard’s first 10 episodes is the strongest first 10 episodes of any Trek show.

Naturally. A lot of people loved it, and that's great for them. Personally, I found it unsatisfying and overall weaker than Discovery.

It took a while to get going (They could've compressed the first four eps down into two. Also, the whole Narek/Narissa Lannister siblings thing dragged.)
